MSNBC Panel Agrees “Trump Supporters Are Selfish” [semi-satire]
Semi-News/Semi-Satire ^ | 2 Sep 2018 | John Semmens

A panel hosted by MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle unanimously agreed that Trump supporters, unlike those who oppose him, are “selfish.” Ruhle set the tone, saying that “the morally reprehensible behavior of the President doesn't seem to bother these people. I mean, there was the 'Access Hollywood' tape that should have destroyed him during the last weeks of the 2016 campaign. Now, there is a plausible contention that he had sex with Stormy Daniels ten years ago and paid her off to keep quiet about it. Is this the kind of person we want as our president?”

“What I am hearing from Trump supporters is their satisfaction with the job he is doing as president,” Ruhle said. “They like the tax cuts. They like the low unemployment. They like keeping immigrants from sneaking into the country. They like the 'originalist' judges he's appointed to the courts. These are all selfish reasons for supporting Trump. They don't consider things like how will Trump's policies affect those who depend on government to support them, or that jobs are boring, or that the border with Mexico was established by conquest, or that a rigid adherence to the text of the Constitution limits judges' ability to rule in favor of social justice. They are thinking about what's better for them when they should be thinking about what's better for others.”

Co-anchor Ali Velshi found Trump supporters' opposition to government-funded abortions to be “an especially egregious example of selfishness. They'd rather have lower taxes than pay for women to terminate their pregnancies. Without access to free abortions more children will be born and the world will become even more clogged with unneeded humans.”

Billionaire Tom Steyer predicted that “this selfishness will not prevail at the polls. I'm seeing a lot of enthusiasm among Democratic voters. I think we will see victories for candidates who will undo the tax cuts, restore welfare benefits, open the border, and enact fully socialized health care. That's where my money is invested.”

And not one of them is selfish?

This country thrives because of “selfish” people. They’ve made life better for everyone because of their selfishness.

“Atlas Shrugged” should be on their reading list.

These are some really delusional and intellectually challenged people. The media have little idea how ill-informed and ordinary they are - so they verbally demean millions and millions of people who are just trying to live their lives and take care of their families. The Clintons, who lie, steal, cheat, and have ruined other people's lives in the process of becoming rich and seeking fame and power are ‘wonderful people’ to them - but those who vote for Trump because they think this might help their lives are selfish.

Delusional idiots. I have zero respect left for the media. It was always clear that they aren't that bright, but now it's further clear that they have no ethics or integrity either.

Why isn’t “killing mother Erf” and “taking away free stuff” not on the list?

Useless Eaters

I’m stealing that nickname for some of those 350 pound welfare queens I see spending their EBT at my local gas station.

McCain died as a thin skinned Republican elitist, doing bitter things to President Donald Trump who is a great man elected for and by the People. McCain was Obama’s dimmi , doing Obama’s bidding to support the jihad and ISIS.Obama used McCain like a common street whore who was left giggling because she had a few extra campaign bucks in her purse. McCain clad himself in our flag to actually betray our country. And IMHO McCain knew exactly what Obama was using him for.

McCain was a decent enough politician until he lost the 2002 GOP presidential nomination to GW Bush. After that he was incredibly bitter. That is when he should have retired in 2002 because subsequently he was an agent provocateur to the GOP and actually sometimes engaged in treasonous activity internationally. He was strangely quiet on the Benghazi fiasco, when he could have led the charge.

One lurid example of McCain’s treasonous conduct was the bogus arms deal he brokered in Syria with the Magic Negro’s help, about 500 million dollars of small arms to a Syrian group of rebels of about 12 men who McCain had met for a photo op.The arms were sold on the black market in Syria as fast as they arrived, to ISIS and the Jihad, later to be used against our US soldiers and allies. The arms dealers in McCain’s pocket tickled his scrotum with $$$ on that one, and McCain once again became Obama’s dimmi. Most Americans do not even know about this fiasco or the methods Obama used to support the jihad instead of fighting it.Obama used McCain to actually support ISIS.

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/jon-soltz/five-hundred-million-down_b_7764280.html

McCain did little or nothing to help the cause against liberal fascism ,promoted and implemented by Obama.McCain could have been heroic in 2008 campaign but he fizzled, his powder wet instead of dry. Therefore the left now cynically lauds Senator McCain’s life, the way that Muslims laud their dimmis.

This article by Laz shows a genuinely true picture of McCain:

Gordon Gekko intoned, “Greed is good.” On the surface, this seems so - exclusionary, but it is a basic motive behind every living organism on this planet, clawing and pulling at every rival for the available resources. The struggles make the strong stronger, and in a cruelly Darwinian way, it assures that the next generation will be even more prepared for the unknowable future threats as they arise.

But in the wake of all this acquisition, there is enough that falls off the potato truck, that plenty is available for those willing to pick up the “crumbs” and “scraps” along the way.

Rather like a moldboard plow opening and turning over the top layer of earth, that the next crop may sprout and grow.

Call it selfish if you will. I call it cultivation of the garden.
