The McCain Funeral: A Fitting Requiem for the Deep State
DB Daily Update ^ | David Blackmon

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Our long national nightmare is finally over. – Senator John McCain, who died on Saturday, August 25, was finally laid to rest on Sunday, September 2, after eight interminable days of honoring, memorializing and rank demagoguery, all of which the amazingly egotistical Senator planned for himself. And so, the nation can heave a huge, collective sigh of relief.

I’ll get criticized for that opening paragraph, but I want those of you coming to bash me to remember that in 1963, our country suffered the assassination of a President. That killing took place on Friday, November 22. Following a hasty and ill-performed autopsy, the slain President’s body lay in state in the East Room of the White House throughout the day on November 23. On November 24, the body was carried by horse-drawn caisson up Pennsylvania Avenue early on the morning of November 24, where it lay in state throughout that day.

And on Monday, November 25, the body of John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States of America, was buried. From beginning to end, the process took just three days, but then, Mr. Kennedy did not have the opportunity to do his own planning, given that he was taken down by the bullets of at least one assassin.

What we just went through as a nation over the past 8 days was unwarranted and unseemly, and everyone involved in making it happen should be embarrassed. RIP, Senator McCain, at long last.

If you must continue mourning, here’s a new object of your desires. – The 200 year-old national museum of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro suffered a massive fire overnight, destroying most if not all of the 20 million precious historic items in its collection. Items thought to be destroyed include the oldest human fossil found in Brazil, a fresco that survived the destruction of Pompeii, and a collection of Egyptian artifacts. A real tragedy of epic proportions for history and the human race.

A fitting requiem for the Deep State. – Back to the McCain funeral one last time before I let the subject go forever.

Despite the unseemly nature of the “service” on Saturday, with two different former presidents and the daughter of the deceased using their time to bash the sitting President rather than memorialized the dead Senator, it occurs to me that it served as the perfect requiem for the Deep State establishment that is currently being dismantled and de-powered by President Trump.

There you had assembled in one place the three previous presidents who, along with elderly ex-President George H.W. Bush, had spent the 28 years prior to Trump’s inauguration “globalizing” America, marginalizing America’s blue-collar workers and de-emphasizing American greatness, all honoring a Senator who had played a leading role in carrying their water for more than 30 years. You also had all the glitterati of the fake news media which has spent those same years brainwashing the American public to just lie back and take the policy-based pillaging of the U.S. economy and mortgaging of our childrens’ and grandchildrens’ future once again brainwashing you to disregard the realities of John McCain’s life and career.

At the same time, the President who is working to reverse the corrupt and destructive anti-American legacy of the previous 28 years was out playing golf because he had been dis-invited from the service by McCain and the McCain family. Again, a perfect gesture of contempt on behalf of the Deep State. The symbolism of the day was perfect: The three ex-presidents looking old, tired and lacking in energy, their legislative bell cow lying in a coffin, the fake news media collectively spinning yet another tired narrative, with the one guy standing athwart them all out getting his exercise, preparing for another week of dismantling the Deep State they all worked so hard to institutionalize.

Meanwhile, the Democrat Party is radicalizing to the far, far left, and the Republican Party is systematically getting rid of its establishment wing through primary elections and retirements. The Deep State GOP/Democrat “uniparty” that McCain, Bush, Obama and Clinton worked so hard to construct over the last three decades is already greatly diminished, and stands in danger of going away entirely should Trump succeed in getting re-elected in 2020.

With our economy booming, Black and Hispanic unemployment at all-time record low levels, and tens of thousands of blue-collar and union jobs returning to America, the party coalitions of the past are being re-drawn in ways that will render the two Parties more readily distinguishable from one another. While this process will be difficult and fraught with peril, it will over the next few years produce a result that is far better for the country.

Most people thought this weekend was about a funeral for one man, but it was about so much more than that if you were paying attention. The people at that service were mourning much more than the loss of just one man.

Just another day in the Deep State is dying America.

That is all.

The “McCain Funeral” was they only way they could “rally” more than 50 people in one place to bash Trump.

It wasn’t about “McCain’s life”, it was about what Trump *supposedly* did to “McCain’s life”.

In other words, it was a farce, and his family should be ashamed to put on such a spectacle.

Ding....Dong.....

Trump gets criticized for playing golf during McCain’s funeral. Well, he would have had to remain shuttered for eight days to avoid such criticism of doing something fun during the obsequious, seemingly never-ending, self-planned funeral tour for the self-described “great man”.

This person was a huge liability. America is now a better nation with him gone. Praise the Lord.

It is shameful that an entire week was devoted to laying to rest this very, very flawed man; hell, there was not this much devotion to Ronald Reagan when he passed. In fact, even JFK’s death and funeral only lasted four days, one half the time set aside for this very angry, and very bitter man.

But, of course, the leftists and their media water carriers elevated McCain to sainthood solely because he so viscerally hated Donald Trump and let no opportunity pass to show it.

A man and a friend are playing golf one day at their local golf course. One of the guys is about to chip onto the green when he sees a long funeral procession on the road next to the course. He stops in mid-swing, takes off his golf cap, closes his eyes, and bows down in prayer.

His friend says: “Wow, that is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You truly are a kind man.”

The man then replies: “Yeah, well we were married 35 years.”

yes indeed - a Deep State Funeral.

how absurd it would have been for President Trump to have attended, even if he had not been NOT invited, given McCain’s deep involvement in the Russian Hoax saga.

Buried near his friend, not his family.

Shows you just how important his family really was to him.

I just checked. Ronald Reagan’s funeral and burial took place on June 11, 2004, six days after his death. So McCain got more attention from the media than even a great president did.

I found that strange also. Why not Arlington with his Grandfather and Father? The Secretary of the Navy had to approve his burial choice given the requirements for burial at the Naval Academy as he really wasn’t entitled to it.

In fact I looked up who is buried there and I saw no past U.S. Senators, of course I only saw a select list.

The grand “deep state” John McCain planned funeral, to be used to destroy and take down POTUS, Donald J. Trump, has failed miserably, whichever way you choose to view it. I have said on many postings that the Democrat Party and the Republican Establishments, with the aid and assistance of the biased media are self inflicting political destruction upon themselves. The McCain farce is just one more example of failure after failure of the “deep swamp”.

I can assure you folks that both the House & Senate will remain firmly in Republican control after the Mid-Term Elections that take place, November 6, 2018. I will also add, with great assurance that both the states of Florida & Texas will also remain in Republican control.

The Democrat candidates for Governor in Florida & Texas will be political slaughtered come election day & Republicans Greg Abbott in Texas and Ron DeSantis in Florida will both be massive winners...across the board.

And...that’s also a ditto for Republicans, Senator Ted Cruz and Governor, Rick Scott (running for Senate) in Texas & Florida.

I also predict that the current Democrat Party will become a shadow of its former self after this election and will just about cease to be an effective functioning political party.

Now...the biggest joke and laugh of the day...is the news that ex-POTUS, Barack Hussein Obama will be campaigning heavily..across the country for various Democrats (some Democrats do not want go near Obama, he is political suicide)...the same Obama that presided over the loss of over one thousand Democrat legislative seats during his term in office.....What A Guy!!! Welcome aboard, Mr. Obama!!!

"the party coalitions of the past are being re-drawn in ways that will render the two Parties more readily distinguishable from one another."

Yes. There are now two political parties in America:

The Party of Hate,
which made its official debut at the ugly McCain Funeral Hate-Fest, and

The Party of Love:
love of God; love of America; love of liberty and justice for all; love of the American Dream; love of basic human decency; love of the brotherhood of man; love of the rule of law; love of the US Constitution and Declaration of Independence and the Gettysburg Address; and love of all people;
which is what the Trump Revolution is all about.
