• President Donald Trump presides over an administration that has seen an enormous level of controversy that could overshadow a burgeoning economy.
• He has delivered on promises to cut taxes and regulations and promote activity through more aggressive government spending.
• Critics believe that it won't last because the fiscal stimulus is aimed only at near-term growth.
• The results, though, have been impressive: a surge in company profits and near-record levels of optimism from consumers and businesses....

Now make the tax cuts permanent to create a firewall so the rats don’t reverse it.

I don’t think you can make any law “permanent” since they’re always changeable by a future congress.

Fake news.

Haven’t seen any agressive government spending here.
I do see stores and warehouses going up.
Some computer chip manufacturing and vehicle repair places.

Did the Fed Gov get into collision repair, or is this an attempt to prop up Keynesian theories by imaging government largess where it doesn’t exist.

Trump should tweet to Obama: “You didn’t build that.”

Easy.
Take each and every democratic party sponsored regulation.
Repeal it.
Shazam, business freed.

I've also noticed the current administration hasn't dragged us into any new foreign wars, as the four previous administrations did. Yet they continue to warn us about the dangerous path the current administration is on.

The only area showing growth during Obortion’s years was the WASHINGTON DC area.

Actually, the decline in the economy continued under Obama from 2009 thru 2012 (except in NYC, DC, LA and SF where the recovery started in 2009.) Normally the first couple years of a recovery have the strongest climb. But Obama only had a slow climb 2012-2016.

Obama left a lot on the table for Trump to exploit. Obama could have had the big bump on his watch. But he blew it. His economic experts told him 3% was almost impossible and 4% was totally impossible. He ran the economy for his ivory tower experts, not for the people in flyover country.

Trump should thank Obama for leaving so much for Obama’s successor to exploit.

this one article should be spawning dozens of different, positive headlines for President Trump.

instead, this is ALONE at the top of google news results for search on Trump + economy:

CNN: Why Trump’s numbers on economic approval aren’t as high as they should be

and it is immediately followed by dozens/hundreds of positive Obama headlines attacking Trump for this, that and the other, including the economy.

bury the FakeNewsMSM.

We cut taxes without cutting .gov. Let me know in a few years how the nat. debt is doing. I don't see the leaders of the GOP pushing to cut .gov spending.

I was unaware that cutting Foreign aid was not cutting government spending.

Where does the money for foreign aid come from, if mot the federal budget?

Except foreign aid is a drop in the bucket of the drop in the bucket!

Entitlements that’s where the danger lies! Of course everyone has their favorite entitlement! That’s the political problem!
