Watch the video. She had a bad case of depression. I did not know that about her. I remember the group but was not a big fan. Do know a lot of these stars suffer from deep depression.

Thanks. One thing I hate about videos is that they are so difficult to scan for relavent info. Plus the person speaking pronounced her name very oddly like he had never heard of her or Irish names starting with O’.

I’m just going to leave this song here for Delores, whose music I enjoyed. She had an unusual and wonderful voice.
Alcoholism is a very dangerous addiction, and it is not uncommon in female performers.
This song is about the alcoholism of the lady performing it, Sia. A very moving live performance from a spectacularly talented lady.

That is kind of her schtick.
She for the longest time did not want to face her audience for various odd reasons, so she conceals her face or faces away from her audience.
It seems that more recently she has done several performances without her wigs or various other props.
The first time I saw her, I was like, okay this one is pretty darned strange, but I have to say that in at least certain songs, her singing ability is startling.
She is about 42 now, and can sing like that.
