Todays Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
That Bob Woodwards a saint! Wait, he said what about John Brennan? Oh, uh, that Bob Woodwards a skunk! Look for the Obama sycophant tune about Bob Woodward and his new book start to change today, as it was revealed overnight that his book contains a damaging allegation about Obamas rancid CIA Director John Brennan.
Woodwards book alleges that Brennan endorsed the fake Trump Dossier paid for by the Clinton Campaign and DNC late in 2016, something Brennan has denied doing. Woodwards allegation about Brennan is of course based on nothing but the claims of an anonymous source, a source who may or may not actually even exist.
A spokesman for Mr. Brennan told the Washington Times that Brennan never approved of the dossier. In fact, the source said, he worked to make sure it wasnt included in the intelligence community assessment of Russian election interference. The source went on to say that Brennan did not approve of the dossier because it wasnt corroborated intel, a rare instance in which we can confirm our former CIA Director is actually telling the truth, given that nothing in the fake Dossier has been corroborated to this very day.
Of course, none of that prevented Brennan from sharing the Dossier with his buddy Jim Comey and others at the Obama FBI. Nor did it prompt Brennan to work to ensure the contents of the Dossier were not used by the anti-Trump cabal within the DOJ and FBI to form the basis for no fewer than four FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign and Administration, an effort of which he was certainly well aware.
At any rate, thanks to this excellent reporting by the Washington Times which no one at the New York Times or Washington Post could be bothered to perform Democrats are finding out what its like to be on Bob Woodwards yarn-spinning receiving end this morning. Woodward should probably wear his big boy pants today, because the blowback is going to be vicious.
How many layers of Anonymous does Woodward get before the referee calls him offsides? I got a kick last night when the apparent 12 year-old children who control The Hills twitter feed (@TheHill) sent out the following little ditty:

The Hill ✔ @thehill Woodward says "key" Trump official told him book is "1000-percent correct" http://hill.cm/KTNuliZ

Well .yeah.
How does Woodward saying that qualify as news to any legitimate news organization, which The Hill actually used to be? In all seriousness, our fake journalistic community appears to have lost all touch with what their profession is supposed to be about at this point. Its terribly sad to watch, and remains a clear and present danger to the survival of our Republic.
Everything in our fake news media is political, even the weather and tennis shoes. We have arrived at a point at which the journalists who are supposed to serve as our nations watchdogs over those in power now merit watching more than those in power do. There is not a single mainstream media outlet today that can be trusted to report straight news. Every report, regardless of its subject matter, is now tinged with the political viewpoints of the reporters and editors and producers and corporate flunkies.
We cant even trust media outlets to report the weather straight anymore, as the run-up to the landfall of Hurricane Florence clearly demonstrates. I awoke this morning to an ABC radio news report in which the anchor guy used his report on Florence to bash President Trump for the Administrations handling of last years multiple hurricane impacts on Puerto Rico. The report was raft with loaded phrases like the President claims, many (unnamed) experts have criticized his handling, and thousands of Puerto Ricans were without power, water, you name it, as if the President himself directed the hurricanes advance, or was personally responsible for the 50 years of graft, corruption and infrastructure neglect by the island terroritorys Democrat-dominated government.
Even before Florence does any damage at all, our fake news media is working hard to set this up as Trumps Katrina, make no mistake about it. All the fake reporters and fake editors and fake producers are frustrated as hell that they couldnt successfully create that narrative related to any of the four major hurricane events in 2017, so you can count on them to work overtime on getting it done with Florence.
But assessing blame before the fact is just one of the media tactics were already seeing. The efforts to blame every hurricane that takes place on global warming or climate change have become so ubiquitous now that we hardly even notice them.
If you want to understand how specious that argument is, take a look a the data in this tweet from noted climate expert Roger Pielke, Jr.:

Roger Pielke Jr. ✔ @RogerPielkeJr This figure from @philklotzbach shows FL and US east coast major hurricane history since 1915 ⤵️
3:21 PM - Sep 11, 2018 159 149 people are talking about this Twitter Ads info and privacy This is just factual, official government data, folks, not some CNN talking heads opinion. As you can see, major hurricane events along the East Coast and Florida were roughly 3 times more frequent during the half-century from 1915 through 1965 than they have been since 1966. This is 180 degrees contrary to the climate scammer argument that rising levels of carbon dioxide cause more frequent and more intense hurricane events.
Florida looks like a damn pin cushion during that earlier time frame. Given that Chevrolet didnt start making Suburbans until 1936 and didnt begin selling them in any great quantities until the 1980s, your SUVs didnt do that.
Hurricanes happen. Sometimes the U.S. gets hit frequently, and sometimes like the decade prior to 2017 the U.S. doesnt get hit at all for long periods of time. That SUV youre using to drive your kids to and from school and their extra-curricular activities doesnt have anything to do with it.
Just another day in all fake news all the time about everything America.
That is all.

Funny, as much as they hate PRESIDENT Trump, that is how much I despise them.
Lets see how PDJT handlea this. the n.c. coast aint New Orleans. its open farm country and bedroom communities. Not a nest of do nuttins and welfare queeens. I predict after the storm the walmart wont be looted for t.v’s and beer.
Huuummmmm. I thought Puerto Rico was President Trump’s Katrina. /sarc
Agreed but they will focus on ANY and I mean ANY negative.
Katrina was President Trumps Katrina. double/sarc
I propose a drinking game (soft drinks for me). Every time the media mentions global warming, George Bush, Dick Cheney, or Donald Trump as blame for this storm, take a drink!
Rush, Hannity, Levin, Savage, Wilkow, etc. all have many times the audience of the ‘main stream media’.
So why do the ‘main stream media; still get into the white house and control the daily news stories? And why do we keep talking about them instead of making the headlines of the day?
Hannity and Sarah Carter seem to be the only ones making major news- Brietbart is good but they are second to Hannity in terms of NEW stories.
Trump is a genius at problem solving. If given the freedom to put his plan(s) into action, and not thwarted by anyone, he’ll handle this just fine.
Even worse, when the Fed's step up and do an outstanding job in the aftermath, the media will undoubtedly say, "We scared/shamed Trump into responding."
I was tell my husband this morning that they probably already have the stories written about how horrible the response is. Once it hits land all they have to do is push a button to get them out there. They have interviewed all their “anonymous sources” already. If one “person of color” dies, that will prove that Trump is also a racist...

The hype is all about ratings and advertising dollars.
Won’t work because the Carolinas have competent governing.
There can be no lose of life, they’ll find something, if thay can’t they’ll just make stuff up. They dont care about truth any more. End justifys the means, and THAT is bringing down our President.

I’ve been in a hurricane and the minute I hear one is coming my way I head for the hills. It may be partially for ad dollars, but the people should get out of there, even if they have to live in their cars.
I’m praying that it stalls offshore and heads back out to sea.

I agree with you. I think the stories have already been written, in fact...
Ridiculous. Overreach much?
GW got a bad rap for Katrina...as far as I understand it, the local authorities, the state, etc had to ask for federal help.
All those weather broads in their cheesy cocktail lounge get-ups, who can barely speak or enunciate properly, who trip all over the English language with excitement at continuous face time on national TV, have swallowed enough kool aid to choke the whole stable.
GW had assets ready to go, but legally needed the states permission to move those assets. Governor Blanco of Louisana would not give that permission, plus blocked volunteers from neighboring states, including harder hit Mississippi. Then she turns around and says that GW did nothing.
Later, the mayor of San Juan, PR, does the same thing.
All this for the sole purpose of making a Republican president look bad.
The blaming started during Bush’s presidency, stopped during the pot-smoking, gay, marxist, m*slim loving presidency, and has resumed once again.
Just like homelessless - same schedule.
