I do not remember if LT Perez was killed by an Iranian Explosively Formed Projectile (EFP) or a locally fabricated IED. It doesn’t really matter, but the public release would not have mentioned the details. At that time, we were working hard to defeat these weapons. They were very sophisticated and manufactured by the Iranian Government, it was no run of the mill IED. Designing, manufacturing, and supplying these munitions was an Act of War, kept quiet by the Obama Administration.
Yeah EFPs were mean... capable of killing a tank. I don’t know who made the device that killed the beautiful young woman but it just struck a nerve with me that we knew the Iranians were using the Iraq war to kill American troops by the hundreds, on top of being a state supporter of terrorism (Hezbollah has killed hundreds of troops), and Obama, Kerry, Corker, and many others in the swamp did all they could to give them money that will be used to kill more Americans and, one day, field nuclear weapons. There is a good possibility that we will fight Iran, and there will be (even more) blood on the hands of the Obama administration. It makes me sick that we can elect such evil people to run our country.
You have to wonder what historians will write about this period in American history.
