As I pointed out in late 2016, Harris was selected by TPTB almost immediately after the Clinton loss to be Obama 2.0. I could smell the script from the NYTimes coverage, and lo and behold, here we are.
At this point, she may be the only option for them at all, the only one who can possibly hold the Democratic frankencoalition together long enough to pull it over the Nov 2020 finish line intact. Dems’ 2020 primary season going to be very interesting, bet a lot of people aren’t going to line up quietly behind her.
