Hurricane Florence was downgraded to a Category 1 storm by the time it made landfall, which means it’s but a puny thing compared to Hurricane Trump, the Category 5 storm that hit Washington DC on January 20, 2017, and whose wind speed hasn’t abated yet. Talk about a stalled-out storm system! The winds of change can be like that some times. (Pssst, liberals: I’ve got more heavy weather news for you. Hurricane Kavanaugh will make landfall at the Supreme Court next week. Definitely a Cat 5.)

Shook my head this morning when FOX & Friends were so giddy over the “catastrophic biblical” flooding which caused a snake to “swim” past the reporter. The snake crawled just barely past him and completely stopped so obviously it wasn’t swimming but laying on the ground. You could see the traffic lines through the water. Then they had a camera on a woman walking down the road rolling a piece of luggage behind her. Eventually, at the intersection, water rose from shoe sole depth to her thighs so FOX went all gasping and horrified.
All CNN could find to show were torn up docks.
Yes, of course, people have flooding and wind damage and power went out but this didn’t come anywhere near BIBLICAL.
There were no cats and dogs sleeping together. There was no mass hysteria.
The democrats will say that 3,000 people died during and after this storm because of Donald Trump.
