Francis’ Emergency Meeting Ignores Vigano’s Indictment against Him and 32 Church Officials

Will he announce a plan to sideline any prelate who openly supports gay orientation? Will he finally cite homosexuality as the root of the pedophile problem in the Church?

On Thursday a delegation of U.S. bishops met with Pope Francis at the Vatican to discuss the ensuing sexual-abuse crisis in America, and while the USCCB issued a statement saying that the bishop’s meeting with Francis “was a lengthy, fruitful, and good exchange,” the matter of Cardinal Vigano’s 11-page testimony detailing cover-up allegations against Francis and 32 other high-ranking church officials—the very crux of the issue—was never addressed, nor has the Vatican fulfilled its promise to offer “clarifications” on Vigano’s indictment.

Keep exposing them, exposing their lies and misdeeds. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

How many six-year-old-boys did they invite to this secret enclave?

As a catholic, honestly, I think the pope is a rump wrangler.

I’m qucikly losing all respect for the church.

No. It's God's Church. We are the Church. It's POPE FRANCIS and his crew who have lost all respect for the Church.

It's time to rediscover our Baptismal Promises and lay hold of the graces given us at Confirmation to be soldiers of Christ. Our Lord has called our names, bid us come forward, and given us the sword of the Spirit.

None of this is taking God by surprise. He promised us this would come. Divine Providence put us right here, right now.

You want to run away from the fight?

Have you lost all sensation that you have nerves and muscle in your arm?

Or will you man up and wage the fights against those who would dare to attempt the rape of God's Bride?

The pope is part of the problem. He and his homosexual cardinals, bishops, and priests need to resign. The church needs to purge itself of this evil. In my family we are close to a discussion of stopping our kid’s attendance. If my wife wants to continue, her choice. I have already stopped and will soon have discussion about our kids. It is up to the pope, does he admit to the problem and leave or continue denial, circle the wagons, and stay?

Many, many of our bishops have Twitter accounts. I am tweeting to my Bishop's Twitter account several times a day. Today he made a brief remark about "fake news" so I responded with this:

Speaking of "news": USCCB statement saying that US bishops' meeting with Pope Francis “was a lengthy, fruitful, and good exchange,” but Card Vigano’s testimony of alleged cover-ups by 32 hierarchs going up to the top—the very crux of the issue—was never addressed. Duh. Waiting.

It just occurred to me that I should share all my tweets on FR too, so FReeper Catholics can tweet them to your bishops as well. I am not much of a social media maven, but if 60 million Catholics do the little we can -- well, you know how this gospel works: you give your 2 little fishes and 5 barley buns, and the Lord will multiply it out.

So here, please free free to use my hand-crafted artisanal right-sized tweets to my bishop over the past couple weeks:

Speaking of "news": USCCB statement saying that US bishops' meeting with Pope Francis “was a lengthy, fruitful, and good exchange,” but Card Vigano’s testimony of alleged cover-ups by 32 hierarchs going up to the top—the very crux of the issue—was never addressed. Duh. Waiting.

Nor has the Vatican fulfilled its promise to offer “clarifications” on Vigano’s indictment. I'm sure they'll get around to it.

Church Militant's merchandising is distracting, but I know what it's like for a shoestring org. to scramble for small change. More suspicious: smooth, professional-looking sites which evidently never have to fundraise, flush (from God-knows-where) with $$$ of unknown provenance.

I'm afraid we're so accustomed to kumbaya we sink into the Christianity of the Comfortable. "People think Christianity is a big electric blanket, when, of course, it is the Cross." - Flannery O'Connor

https://www.lifesitenews.com has the most detailed, best-sourced, accurate, timely coverage of Culture of Life issues: abortion, adoption, euthanasia, end-of-life ethics, the politics of pop. control and defense of the sanctity of sex, faith & family, natural & sacramental marriage.

Images can be deceiving. "Catholics for Choice" published (in Spanish and English) holy cards featuring the V. of Guadalupe and a prayer saying "it's a blessing to be able to end your pregnancy, Mother Mary understands!" Nauseating lies.

It shouldn't be a matter of "How do I feel about it?" but "What are his facts? Are his sources named and solid? His inferences reasonable? What is his track record from the past? Where does his money come from?" Sometimes silence is a lie, and a scorching indictment the truth.

"Hate" is hard to gauge. Jeremiah's diatribes against the five apostate Kings of Judah -- or those of Jesus vs the Pharisees --- were heated & vehement, included name-calling, and could be mistaken for hate literature. Best to ask, not "Is this turbulent?" but "Is this true?"

It's true we can't know what's in Wuerl's mind &heart. But we can know about criminal liabilities: that's what grand juries, DA's, judges and juries are for. The truth must come out. Jesus says we should hunger and thirst for justice. Then mercy. Justice and mercy shall kiss.

Don't forget we are a nation proud of our legal immigrants. We are a Church proud of our legal immigrants. These good people respect us, we respect them back. THEY don't take this country for granted. In fact they don't take anything or granted -- anthing that's not theirs.

Immigration Reform Law Inst: in 2012 -2016, nearly 40 million Social Security numbers stolen and used by illegal immigrants. Do people tell you all the time they've done that? Oh, they forgot to tell you? It's not right. That's how millions of dishonest people got their jobs.

Over half of the repatriated parents, shockingly, didn't want their kids back. Some said it's too dangerous in home country; others weren't actually their parents. Don't underestimate prevalence of grabbing and using kids as drug mules, victims of human trafficking. Need to ID!!

Town halls: a positive idea, many would like to participate. Don't call it "venting" though I know what you mean. Venting implies going all Drama Queen, emoting, letting off steam. No. Let's think things through and have feeply-felt and intelligent discussion as adults.

nt Why won't the Holy Father answer the charges made in Viganò's Testimony? Why did he say "I'm not saying a word"? Why has he turned journalists away from archives and forbidden officials to give interviews? Why has he scheduled a conference in FEBRUARY? Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

I am confused by all this skulduggery. Are not some of the relevant documents now in the possession of the Apostolic Nuncio and the Archdiocese in Washington, DC? And the Holy Father wants to have a conference--- in February?? Who is it that's trying to run out the clock?

"Release the documents now" applies to all of them -- Pope Francis, Abp Viganó, Card. Pietro Parolin, Card. Wuerl, Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Christophe Pierre -- simultaneously. This cat-and-mouse, spy-vs-spy game is unseemly for the Church of Jesus Christ. Pray for the Bride.

The Catholic Church is not "nothing more than" a criminal Mafia. She is the Bride of Christ. There is no doubt a criminal Mafia mixed into this story, and that Mafia should be identified as her abuser --- her abductor.

I daresay extraordinary claims require sufficient --- not extraordinary --- evidence. La paciencia todo lo alcanza.

Unless I missed it, I don't recall anybody naming Pope Francis, himself, as a party who'd make this threat. There are many actors, some perhaps sinister, in this disturbing unprecedented situation. Can you offer any theories on why the Holy Father said, "I won't say a word"?

I think it could also mean (c) Viganó is trying tactically to defend himself from prosecution or persecution, by attaching consequences to any attempt to silence him. I don't know that this is a fact, but it ought to be acknowledged, along with (a) and (b), as a possibility.

Is this useful? Should I publish more?

The question is not "go or stay?" If you go, Satan got what he wants: he enters, he occupies, he wins.

The question is: "slink off like a beaten dog, or stay and fight?"

It's time to rediscover our Baptismal Promises and lay hold of the graces given us at Confirmation to be soldiers of Christ. Our Lord has called our names, bid us come forward, and given us the sword of the Spirit.

Have you lost all sensation that you have nerves and muscle in your arm?

Or will you man up and wage the fights against those who would dare to attempt the rape of God's Bride?

Stand your ground. Seek out and buddy up with fellow stubborn Christifideles laici --- those faithful to Christ --- and there more every day.

Don't pay a penny into the Diocesan Pipeline (parish - diocese - Vatican) but put money into the specific ministries which are still Catholic and whose funds are not fungible: your school (if it's a good one), Respect Life, St. Vincent de Paul, Prolife Pregnancy Center, wherever real Catholicism is manifested. The local-est, lay-led, grass-rootsier the better.

If you don't whow who, what or where, here's the excellent Regina Safe Spaces for Catholic Money

No Fear. No Flight.

It's time to fight.

My pastor, Fr. Pete, knows what I'm up to, blessed me for what both he and I call my "remedial catechising."

Sorry, that ain’t working. We vote with our feet and our money. Our only power. Heck, I can talk to the local priest, share my thoughts and concerns but that gets zip. That is the problem, the church is so infested with homosexual clergy they need an intervention. They need a purge. It will have to come top-down and likely not until they are starved into action.

...and besides, don’t say the church becomes evil if we leave. It IS evil now. Your response of staying is facilitating it. Have you stopped donating? If not, then YOU are paying for this evil. If you continue to go, you are agreeing to and accepting this evil.

A FReeper (not one of you) asked me by PM whether being mad as hell at the Church made you unfit for Communion, and/or whether having possibly a bad priest, made the sacrament invalid.

Thinking there may be more who are wondering, here is what you need to know:

Eucharist (conscration of Holy Communion) and Reconciliation (Confession) are both valid no matter what is the state of the soul of the priest. This is because

(1) the "action" is not done by the priest (by his natural power) but by Christ. Christ is the one who "acts" in the sacrament. If the priest was Judas the sacrament would still be valid, because it's not Judas' spirit that's at work here, but Christ's

(2) If it were not so, you could NEVER know if your sacrament was valid or not, because you can NEVER know if the priest has a secret sin. Even a hidden interior thing (like say, the priest has no faith and has become an atheist) can still be a mortal sin. But even he can do a valid sacrament.

The Church says the action is done "ex opere operato" (by the very action being done) BY Christ THROUGH even an unworthy priest.

BTW I confessed anger to my asst pastor just today. I said I was not sure if it was a sin, because actually anger CAN be justified and CAN motivate you to do the right thing.

My asst pastor said that a "just anger" is not a sin, but it can be hard to handle, and I should pray for the strength and wisdom to be angry justly, accurately and constructively, like Christ. "Be angry, and sin not."

Make sense?

Let's pray for each other to get--- and use --- the good kind of God-pleasing anger.

Well, thank you.

That being said, I need to add the following Lord of the Rings quote:

"I can add some more, if you like it," said Sam. "Calling your Chief Names, Wishing to punch his Pimply Face, and Thinking you Shirriffs look a lot of Tom-fools."

Yes, on both counts. I always try to turn my anger to prayers for justice and conversion of those doing evil. It’s not a perfect process!
