Back in the 50s when Dad was a NYPD cop and before Miranda and other BS Supreme Court rulings. He told me people don’t loot (hurricanes- blizzards etc) because looters get shot. It was true then. It would work now.

On my local Fox news broadcast they showed a clip of one white guy putting something in his car. Not a person of color in sight.
Back in 1980 we had a riot that lasted for days. In that time they burnt down the only grocery store around for miles. The store was owned by a black guy named Earl. He started at A&P as a bagboy, worked his way up, and when A&P was going to pull out Earl bought the place. A black owned store serving his community and they burnt it to the ground.
The also torched the Norton tire and auto which employed around 200 people 90% was black. They burned 10 million dollars of tires!

McDuffy was an insurance salesman that decided to flee from the cops on his KZ 900. After running a considerably amount of time and being unable to lose the cops, he decided to stop in a well lit intersection. Well the police were not happy he bolted and proceeded to beat him with their mag flashlights. I don’t think they wanted to kill him and I can confirm when you bolt the cops get really angry. Things were tense until the cops went to trial.
We got sent home at lunch that day and told we would be told when we could come back. I never got the call, they burnt Norton tire to the ground.
Cops were found not gulity.
