Candace Owens as Jean-Leon Gerome's Proud Warrior

Democrat policies have miserably failed to improve the of lives of inner city blacks.  Look no further than the failure of Chicago's Democrat machine to curtail violence in their city's Southside.

Yet Trump's policies of reducing taxes, killing burdensome regulations, and restoring law and order are delivering good outcomes for blacks.  Today we are experiencing the lowest black unemployment rate in our nation's history.

Yet communicating these good results remains a monumental challenge: Democrat politicians, academia, media, and celebrities try to destroy any black spokesperson who callouts Democrat poor results or advocates that black voters should think and vote for themselves.

But now come a pair of American patriots who are truly succeeding in enabling black voters to, as Scott Adams says, "escape the mental prison" of voting blindly for Democrats.

They are Kanye West and Candace Owens.  The musician and fashion designer Kanye got the ball rolling with a tweet that broke the internet: "I love the way Candace Owens thinks."  This prompted the media and celebrities to launched a blistering attack on Kanye for simply shining light on a woman who thinks for herself.

Clearly Kanye put his own reputation on the line by speaking out. Yet it turned out fabulous for him because his new album of music "Ye", released shortly thereafter, rose to number one on the Billboard charts.

And as Kanye gave blacks "permission" to think as individuals, the 29-year old Candace Owens carried the key message that needed to be heard.  She has taken countless arrows in the back for her eloquent and professional defense of conservative principles.

So I hope the graphic below honors Candace's brave and stellar work.  Also, in a recent satirical vanity, I lionized Kanye West with another graphic.

Our culture must not omit the arming of the man.  Let him hear in season, that he is born into the state of war, and that the commonwealth and his own well-being require that he should not go dancing in the weeds of peace, but warned, self-collected, and neither defying nor dreading the thunder, let him take both reputation and life in his hand, and, with perfect urbanity, dare the mob by the absolute truth of his speech, and the rectitude of his behavior.

To this military attitude of the soul we give the name of Heroism. Its rudest form is the contempt for safety and ease, which makes the attractiveness of war.  It is a self-trust which slights the restraints of prudence, in the plenitude of its energy and power to repair the harms it may suffer.  The hero is a mind of such balance that no disturbances can shake his will, but pleasantly, and, as it were, merrily, he advances to his own music.

There is something not philosophical in heroism; there is something not holy in it; it seems not to know that other souls are of one texture with it; it has pride; it is the extreme of individual nature.  Nevertheless, we must profoundly revere it.

It was an easy choice to put Candace's face on artist Jean-Leon Gerome's famous painting, Bashi-Barouk.

The confident, dignified, and fashionable manner of the painting's Ottoman warrrior matches Candace's style.  And the Bashi-Barouk's being unpaid warriors, that reminds how Candace bootstrapped herself from self-published YouTube videos to national fame.

One of my favorite artists, Jean-Leon Gerome (1824 - 1904) was a French painter and sculptor in the style now known as academicism. The range of his works included historical painting, Greek mythology, Orientalism, and portraits.

Among my favorites are:

A graphic honoring Candace Owens and the movement to enable black Americans to escape the mental prison on Democrat mind control.

I really like it (I admire Candace Owens) and appreciate the sentiment.

I suggest you edit the picture you are hosting to get rid of the large space between the graphic and the text, otherwise a great job!

Kanye and Candance Owens are brave beyond words... they are standing alone against a firmly established AND corrupt establishment - both are in my prayers.

Thanks, rlmorel. Glad you like it.

I think you are referring to the white border on the edge that I forgot to remove?  I made that change.  There's still some imperfections on the edge due to the original canvas which I decided to keep in.

Interesting, the original is being shown at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, so I hope to see it some day.

brave beyond words...

Agree. Truth be told, the movement Kanye and Candace started is another stage in the liberation Martin Luther King started.

By the way, here's what Trump had to say about Candace:
