I can’t imagine that they would have loony Lee to do some sort of surreptitious , nefarious payoff in public with a bunch of cameras running ...
They would use some anonymous senate staffer to pass it in the parking garage.

I don’t believe it was money. That would be too much. I believe it is inside information/suggestions. What to say and what not to say accordingly. It could just be about one item or several.
