Wages may be ten times higher, but wages are less than 25% of the cost to make their product, and get it to market.

I would say the labor is less than 8% for most manufactured goods.

Then a 25% tariff, on top of the shipping costs, adds a persuasive incentive to manufacture in the US, rather than communist China.

I think the Trump tariffs are a generational shift that will weaken communism, like the Clinton effort to admit the communist Chinese into the World Trade Organization fueled their economic rise.

Less visible, but also underway, are efforts to reverse the wholesale technology transfer infrastructure that Clinton put in place. He was really worth the bribes they paid him.
