VIDEO

The purpose of this new channel is to share very practical tips on how to lose weight. On May 27, 2018 I weighed 320 pounds. As of September 28, 2018 my weight dropped 54 pounds to 266 pounds. I was able to do this while still eating quite hearty and the purpose of this channel is to share my experience and tips with you.

Lots more videos coming in the near future on how I am losing weight. The main thing is I do not have any sense of deprivation. As a matter of fact, I have gone to buffets several times per month. I will be explaining in upcoming videos on how to lose weight while eating your fill as well as how to do exercises (which I find boring) without really feeling like you are exercising.

I’ve been using the “Lose It” app. Have lost 40+ lbs since May 1st. Oh, and cut out all wheat products.

I’m doing the intermittent fasting 3-5 days a week. Basically one meal a day... Dinner so I can go on dates.
Sometimes with a 100 calorie chocolate flavored bone broth for lunch, sometimes I skip it.

Been doing it for a month.
Down a pant size and those are starting to feel loose.

If you have a ping list for this, I’ll gladly join up. I need to do the exact same thing you have done, and hope to complete.

Lost 75 pounds in less than 6 months. It only took lymphoma and chemo to make those pounds melt away.

Too much deprivation. Watch my future videos. Since Friday I have already been to TWO buffets. I eat AROUND the carbs. However, I honestly only meant to go to one buffet which I did at a Brazilian Buffet consisting of INCREDIBLE meats they brought around to my table about every five minutes. The other buffet sort of creeped up on me because of social commitment on Sunday. TONS of lox and since my carb cravings have been ELIMINATED I had no urge to eat the bagels which is where the carbs are at.

In future videos I will also explain how I am using technology to do what I call no exercise exercises. I walked almost 15,000 steps today so far and I was only barely aware of it. More on that later.

Just wanted to shoot out a quick congratulations on your drive and success! Back on 11/1/16 I weight 525#. Coming up on two years and I’m a much healthier 300#. Huge losses are possible without buying in to the current money-driven fads and without feeling deprived.

I did it with IF (5x7 if anyone’s into that sort of thing), Myfitnesspal, and my good ol’ fitness tracker (it runs my life better than three mother-in-laws).

Good luck to you, and GREAT JOB!!

It’s deprivation but you do get used to it.

I’ve done low carb for a couple of years, but was only very slowly losing weight. Maybe I cheated too much, don’t know.

The intermittent fasting is supposed to cure diabetes. And it’s definitely dropping weight faster than low carb ever did.

But I am curious what you are doing. Always good to have mutliple weapons in the arsenal.

It takes discipline to count carbs. When shopping we look at EVERY label before we buy. As others have mentioned - intermittent fasting is the easiest way to lose weight. You can reverse type 2 diabetes which is what got me started. Dr. Jason Fung has videos on his clinic and the latest findings on the benefits of fasting. it is amazing.

Probably you did cheat, just as I did for the first month, due to carb cravings. I will soon show in an upcoming video how to completely eliminate carb cravings. And believe me, I have definitely eliminated them. Right now in my freezer I have 3 large DiGiorno pizzas and a pint of ice cream for the past couple of months. I got them for my niece and nephew for when they visit but I would definitely have eaten some of them if I still had my old carb cravings.

My wife and I do a modified lower-carb/Paleo diet. We continue to lose weight.

Cut the carbs wherever possible. No bread, starches, sweets with sugars, etc. We have Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookies from the freezer section at Walmart (made with almond flour) and Enlightened ice cream—all of these that we can possibly eat. We eat decadent meats and veggies loaded with butter, coconut oil, or olive oil. We eat avocados and snack on little sweet peppers.

We are eating what doctors used to say would kill you, and our blood work is so good that we qualified for “preferred plus” rates, each.

A woman who was in my office is in very bad shape due to cancer.

I saw a recent photo of her and I wouldn’t have known who she was otherwise.

The lady is determined to make it as far as she can go. It costs a fortune every month for treatment.

If something hit me that hard, I would like to be as resilient as Lauren.

I actually eat very light on weekends.

During the week supporting the technology challenged, it can be stressful. Other times it is so dead, it’s easy to get the munchies.

I try to stick to stuff like watermelon chunks, chia seeds, and the like.

I installed it and will give it a go.

It was something to do while Roku ran some ads during Ghostbusters 1984.

I have done the low carb. A lot of work. Reading labels and cooking for low carb is hard. I also felt deprived. No sweets. Never any bread or potatoes. I have been doing the one meal a day and am losing weight. It’s easier for me. Because I can eat what I want. I even have an ice cream cone after dinner. If I get really hungry during the day I’ll have 3 baby carrots. The 1 meal a day is much easier to me.
Good luck!
