“Eighty percent of Americans see political correctness as a problem. And I think it’s our problem,” Maher explained. “And I don’t know why more mainstream liberals don’t denounce the political correctness that they must know in private conversations is insane.”
When asked to define political correctness, Maher cited the apology astronaut Scott Kelly issued this week after he was criticized for quoting Winston Churchill on Twitter.
“[Kelly] had to issue an apology for that for quoting Churchill because Churchill I guess Churchill lived by the standards of the 19th Century,” Maher said. “This is the guy who saved us from the Nazis!”

The major problem with liberalism is that it isn't the least bit liberal. It is a rebottling of the old and stale vintage of early 20th century progressivism, which was inspired through the French labor unions by the Marxists, calling for suppressing of individual rights in favor of individual economic equality - e.g. redistribution of goods.
Once you realize that American progressivism was a rebellion against the American revolution you understand everything that is wrong with the leftists today. The reason that it is pushed by mob violence today is that it was always pushed by mob violence. That's what progressivists do.
In 1955, a book called Something of Value by Robert Ruark, was published. The book was fiction, but was written with firsthand experience by Ruark when he was hunting big game over in Africa. Definitely non-pc.
Ruark interupted his hunting to find out about the Mau Mau terrorists, journalist that he was. Good read.

And so on until they come to something that is really important for ruining the culture. It will be easy to get away with since a lot of conservatives never fought them since the beginning.
Their game is never quit and keep wearing them down. They have often won before Trump. Now they are getting nasty because their tricks don't work. Now they pull out the violence since they know they can get away with it in commie cities like Portland. This gets people used to violence, so they will escalate to see what more they can get away with.
Never quit, always escalate. It's worked them before.
