TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - MöllerTech is looking to hire more people to work in its Woodstock plant. The company, along with West Alabama Works and others, have organized a hiring event.
MöllerTech builds interior parts for Mercedes SUVs, but other Mercedes suppliers will consider applicants who apply for jobs with MöllerTech.
Mercedes has their other two plants being built now and the recent announcement of their battery plant and then we have all the other suppliers, Donny Jones with West Alabama Works said.
Applicants should wear khakis with a buttoned down shirt or polo. Theyre also asked to bring a cell phone they can also use to fill out a form for career connect thats puts them in direct contact with companies looking to hire people now or in the near future.
The hiring event will be held Tuesday, October 23, from 6pm to 8pm, at West Blocton High School.
This is fake news. Senator Pat Murray says were too stupid to build anything.
“I have stood on the line in Everett, Washington, where we have thousands of workers who go to work every day to build these planes,” Murray said in a Dec. 7 interview with National Public Radio. “I would challenge anybody to tell me that they’ve stood on a line in Alabama and seen anybody building anything.”
My above statement is sarcasm. I am in Alabama and know this lady is bat crap crazy.
If anything, Alabama has more high-tech industry than Washington State ever dreamed of having.
Yep - Alabama is home to several foreign car factories and seems intent on building up it’s manufacturing economic base.
