The paperback version of my book “The Maduro Diet” is amazon’s #1 New Release in Venezuelan History.

The full title of the book is “The Maduro Diet: How three-quarters of adults in Venezuela lost an average of 43 pounds in two years.”

And because it won’t always be #1, here’s a link to the Internet Archive from when it was #1:

43-lbs?
I lost 131-lbs in 23 days in the hospital, with acute/severe pancreatitis, back in Mar/Apr 2017.
Tough way to get back to 32” Lee Jeans, from a 36-38”.

I lost 161 pounds of useless fat in one morning. Left the courthouse a happy man.

I've had acute pancreatitis twice, a year apart a decade ago.

I gained 8 lbs. after a week in the hospital without eating. Why? Doctor said it was because they fill you with saline liquid (water) trying to flush out your abdominal cavity to get rid of the inflammation in the gut. And water weighs 8 lbs. a gallon.

The etiology for my acute pancreatitis episodes was initially blamed on my excessive drinking. 99% plus cases are caused by binge drinking alcohol. Less that 1/10th of a percent get it from the side effects of certain heart medications.

Problem was, I didn't drink alcohol. Hadn't for several decades. Doctors didn't believe me at first when I denied I drank at all until they talked to my wife, who confirmed that I didn't drink liquor.

Eventually the cause was narrowed down to a heart medication I was taking. Doctor switched the medication and I've never had it again.

I suspect you are a drinker. And were overweight. All the clues you provided lead to that indication.

No drinking. This pancreatitis hit me in Mar/Apr 2017.
I quit drinking in 2010, but had a gallstone that was blocking the bile duct, and the pancreas was inflamed. I have a pseudo-cyst (10.5cm) growing on the pancreas, from the sludge dropped by the gallbladder, which the dr’s at York Hospital want to remove.

The dr’s at PSU-Hershey Hospital have opened the duct, thru 13 endoscopies, and installed 4 pigtail stents thru the stomach into the cyst, which drains water into the stomach.

I might just get the GB taken out anyway; we’ll see if the cyst regrows.

I was 265lbs when I went into YH; 134 when I came out. I had saline drip in left neck vein, and liquid “food” in right neck vein, but my body ate all body fat and much of my muscle.

I go back into Hershey Thursday for my 16th CT-Scan, and ERCP.

At 71, I'm back to fighting weight after quadruple bypass open-heart surgery and valve repair, two artificial knee replacements and a shoulder replacement.

After all that and working on my cattle farm daily, I'm in the best shape I've been in 15 years.

Good luck.

Thanks grundle. How long before the product is dropped as "hate speech" or "violation of TOS" or some other transparent lie?
