LAS VEGAS - Mamma mia! Park MGM is holding a large hiring event Monday to fill more than 500 positions at its new Italian-themed dining complex, Eataly.
Eataly promises to bring classic Italian food to the Las Vegas Strip with both upscale and casual dining. It features a variety of products, a cafe, restaurant, and live cooking demonstrations. Eataly is set to open at the Park MGM in December.
Representatives are hosting at hiring event at Park MGM, Monday, November 5th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., inside the Park MGM Presidio Ballroom. A representative from MGM Resorts said they are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. Hiring managers will be conducting interviews and making job offers at the event.
Parking at Park MGM is free for all job seekers Monday.
You can find more information on Eataly here.
We have an Eataly here in Los Angeles. It’s pretty awesome. Go if you can!
Yeah! Mario Batali owned, overpriced, fast food quality, garbage.
If you work for him, he’ll grope you while stealing your tips.
Mario Batali owns Eataly. He’s a left wing lowlife, who groped and forced employees to have sex with him.
He also lost a $5.5mm lawsuit for stealing tips from his servers. I wouldn’t recommend his overpriced crap holes.
First of all, you couldn’t put a gun to my head and make me eat at a place serving italian food called “eataly”
Not when I grew up with home made pasta and pizza.
There MUST be a place in every neighborhood where the owners have even 2nd or 3rd generations descendants making the food.
I have 20 within a 4 square mile radius. But then this is Staten Island.
And even then it’s nothing like what’s made in Italy or Sicily.
It’s been Americanized like all foreign foods.
Which means made fattening :)
But I still enjoy it a lot.
Our pizzas are like lasagna compared to Italy’s.
Also Eataly in NYC is wildly expensive. I mean, does one really need imported ricotta?
Going to a Batali restaurant in NY, for Italian food is like going to Sbarro for Pizza.
Get a dirt water dog instead.
Isn’t that where they sent Henry Hill during his Witness Protection?
“Today, everything is different. There’s no action. I have to wait around like everyone else. Can’t even get decent food. Right after I got here, I ordered some spaghetti with marinara sauce and I got egg noodles and ketchup.”
No, his food was very good. That he was a miserable, corrupt man who looked like a hog on ice is another thing...
LOL
Great line.
Imagine you southerners eating BBQ up north!! :)
I dont know what good BBQ tastes like, so even what I think is good probably sucks.
And I get it at Applebees lol
Asians have REALLY suckered us because there’s NO WAY they are that thin and eat the same Chinese food we eat!!! :)
BTW, Henry Hill got arrested for narcotics dealing but did no time or at least no real time for it and then dropped out of witness protection.
This Thing of Ours ain’t what it used to be.
Ha! Exactly what I had in mind.
When we go to ANY ethnic restaurant we get the celebratory food of that particular ethnicity. Their special foods for their special celebrations.
It would be like having an American Restaurant that served nothing but Thanksgiving Dinner with the Trimmings sorts of meals. Of course one would be overweight, we don’t normally eat like that.
Italians eat a little fruit, some veggies, a little risotto, some pasta. Asian everyday is usually rice with fish, rice with veg, rice with little meat.
Ya! A “hog on ice” wearing orange Crocs! LOL! What a pretty sight that was!
I visit Vegas about twice a year and every time I go, I deal with fewer and fewer people that speak good English.
Vegas hasn’t been the same since the mob left...... ;^)
No.
NO pizza is made like Americans make it in ANY part of Italy or Sicily.
It is NOT a celebratory meal.
It’s not Italian pizza at all.
And my Asian friends tell me they eat NOTHING, NOT EVER like we eat in chinese restaurants.
So again, NOT a celebratory meal.
And i know how italians eat, thanks.
Must not have read my post that closely.
Just another genius correcting folks on here :)
Eataly does have some casual restaurants attached to it but mostly it is a giant grocery store with imported Italian goods and housewares. It’s meat dept. is spectacular if you can afford it. I’ve only been to the NYC one.
Asians have REALLY suckered us because theres NO WAY they are that thin and eat the same Chinese food we eat!!! :)
I was responding to this. Pizza is american food. I know. Essentially a flat sloppy sandwich.
Do what you want, I cannot chose MOST businesses based on the ownership. I’ll go, you stay home.
