I don’t think illegals are near as benign an issue with many voters as the Left would like to believe. Like supporting Trump, most voters probably either don’t answer or lie about being tired of illegals because they don’t want to be thought of as racist. I remember the first time I traveled abroad for business. I got tired of never being able to understand what people were saying around me. It was good to get back home where I could understand everyone, and I fit in. Now, I go out and hear Spanish everywhere. I feel like a foreigner in my own country.
The LSM has no grasp on the illegal issue. They simply don’t get it. If the invasion was happening at a NYC airport there would be a whole different tone.
And it is quite deliberate.
