Never, Never, Never Give Up

If you need a cheerleader today, I’m probably not it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we held the Senate, even picked up a few seats. And there is some delayed satisfaction in the fact that all those Dems who voted against Justice Kavanaugh lost.

kavanaugh effect

And sure, it was delightful to watch the heartbroken MSM admit that their big Blue Wave was in reality just an annoying little drip.

blue drips

And since we held the Senate we still control judicial appointees which in the long game may be the money play - but for now seems like painfully delayed gratification.

delay-gratification

On the other hand the thought of the crazies (Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Adam Schiff, Elijah Cummings) running the House again makes me nauseous.

The fact that Keith Ellison won Minnesota’s Attorney General race disgusts me. Wasn’t he “credibly accused” of beating his former partner? I guess that’s only an automatic disqualifier for privileged white men.

And then there’s the unfortunate situation that those of us in states like California, Hawaii, Michigan and New Jersey ended up with the governments that they deserve rather than the ones we fought for. Disheartening.

The fact that ‘Beto’ O’Rourke – who attracted $70 million, mostly from out of state libs - still lost to Ted Cruz would be uplifting but for the fact he’s been declared a winner despite defeat. I mean, they’re touting him as the  Democrats “New Kennedy” for Pete’s sake! Because of his felony DUI I’m assuming that’s Ted, not John, but still.

And AOC is now officially a socialist representative from The People’s Republic of New York. 50 years from now she’ll probably be Speaker of the House, she seems to have that special typeface.

So while I normally like to at least pretend to be optimistic I’m getting too old to rejoice over 2 years of wasted time while the Democrats hold meritless investigations and bury any that might actually uncover wrong-doing on the part of Deep State.

But hey, If PDJT isn’t giving up I won’t either.

And you know there isn’t a chance of that happening.trump midterm tweetstrump midterm tweets.2png

Nevertheless, I think I’ll spend today doing something productive like cleaning out my bedroom closet.

Their “Blue Wave” became a “Blue bed-wetting.”

With over half the US population livelihood derived from government, big government will win every time. You are an underling. Took the last 50 years to get here. Self sufficiency is the only freedom and that will be outlawed as well. They need you to be the cog to drive the government gravy train.

Two years of a Lib house with all their drama, Trump will run over them in 2020 dragging along a change in the house. For the next two years it’s going to be a new type kavanaugh drama every day. The Libs cannot stay away from the camera and they will say anything.

The message of “Atlas Shrugged” is they (the grifters) need us (the producers), but we don’t need them. If we go “on strike”, they collapse, slowly or quickly. We ultimately have power over them.

We didn't just lose the house. We lost it with a booming economy at a time when so many things were going really, really well. That's a telling and stunning loss!!

Bill Clinton lost the house too in a good economy.

Wooooooo. Soooo stunning and dramatic!!!

Like a epic opera death!!! Woah is us!!!!!!

Jesus, have some of you ever read the history books. Midterms dont give a crap what the situation is, they will come for you, and your job is to limit the losses, which we did in the face of massive media coordination.

Reagan in 84 didn’t even fare this well, Clinton in a fairly decent economy fared far worse.

In the end, the other side gets a small majority and we expanded ours in the Senate, so get a grip.

The first time the Dems lost the House in decades too. Not to mention the Senate.

Don’t give him that much credit. Manchin voted for Kavanaugh once it became clear Kavanaugh was going to win. Hardly a profile in courage.

...we still lost the House.

That may prove to be a significant bottom line and, as the author suggests, is a hard punch in the gut.

Pelosi and Schiff running with authority will be like Sessions not running Justice.

Never, Never, Never Give Up - and, as I say - "Try Smarter".

Buck up! We added Senate seats in a non-Presidential election when history shows we should not have. Dems.along with commie Soros and Hollywood types spent a bundle to win seats held by weak kneed never Trumper republican candidates. We can survive this. A dem house will be unable to get anything stupid past our Senate. We just have to endure two years like we here in Alabama are having to put up with a dem Senator for two years because never Trumpers did not support our choice, Roy Moore, who was Kavanughed before there was a Kavanaugh.

Stay strong and support the President!

The Soviets under Lenin and Stalin never thought that way. They would rather the government grind to a halt than give up control over one person. They care not if the gravy train grinds slowly, just as long as they control it.

It was inevitable. We did not do as poorly as history would dictate.

We will survive. Keep a sense of humor.
