No Peace for President Trump on Armistice Day
Canada Free Press ^ | 11/11/18 | Judi McLeod

Posted on 11/11/2018 7:38:39 AM PST by Sean_Anthony

Meanwhile, there will be no world peace, no peace in the valley as long as the anti-Trump media join the protesting progressive-left in trying to hound the American President out of office

Armistice Day ceremonies in Paris, France were supposed to celebrate peace, commemorating the100 year anniversary of the end of World War1, instead the media war against President Donald Trump continued during the Armistice memorial.

Most news networks—including even the weather channels—bitterly criticized President Trump for canceling his visit to a US cemetery in France because of bad weather.

The American media is an absolute disgrace. Why don’t they just admit they run the propaganda wing of the Democrat Party because we know they’re not objective in their reporting for decades.

No doubt he looked out the window and said “We’re not going out in that.” Couldn’t have been his security folks now could it?

OK, yes, the President cancelled his scheduled trip to “Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and Memorial” that was originally chosen for its proximity to the most famous US WW1 Battlefield of Belleau Wood. This 60 mile journey from Paris was logical only by air (helicopter) with multiple aircraft and the low clouds & wind conditions almost certainly had the US Military & Secret Service & French officials voting against it.

Instead he went by motorcade 5 miles west of Paris to the smaller WW1 US Cemetery & Memorial at Suresnes for his wreath laying and speech. Yes those people who went to Aisne-Marne were disappointed and that probably included some of the US Media. However this over-the-top (WW1 reference!!!) criticism just amply proves the MSM anti-Trump PREJUDICE!

Remember our Vets of all wars & conflicts and give them all honor. Say thanks to the living and pray for the families & friends of the passed. Play ‘Taps’ and ‘Final Post’ in their memory!

As, perhaps, opposed to this image from the recent past?

Since POTUS Trump is not a Marine Helicopter Pilot nor is a Secret Service Agent, he was not he one making the decision.

Do Liberals think the POTUS makes these type of decisions on his own?

Pretty soon they will be comparing this to POTUS Bush not flying back to D.C. during the 9/11 Attacks.

Photo of the nations’ leaders march/walk and the photog didn’t get President Trump in the shot.

But wait, the NYet times did manage to catch a snapshot of Trump shaking hands with Putin.

So Trump is a nationalist who doesn’t get along with other world leaders except he does but that guy (Putin) should be shunned, except Europe thinks OUR president should be shunned so...

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/11/us/politics/macron-trump-paris-wwi.html

Remembering the forces that led to World War I, Mr. Macron warned that “the old demons” have been resurfacing and declared that “giving into the fascination for withdrawal, isolationism, violence and domination would be a grave error that future generations would very rightly make us responsible for.”

that’s an odd stance, is Macron blaming the US’s isolationist policy for the outbreak of WWI?

I think more case can be made against the Swiss et all in WWII.

I remember in the 1990s when they stopped commemorating Armastice Day. I “get” that this is the 100th anniversary but the Left stopped caring about WWI over a generation ago.

This is phony outrage.

and here is a barking moonbat’s iditorial in 2014 (Obama-era) railing against Veterans’ Day and holding up POW Kurt Vonnegut’s 1973 anti-war statement as some sort of holy rebuke of Veteran’s Day. Kurt didn’t think we should’ve gone to war against NAZI Germany. At all.

And it mention’s a concert for valor on the DC Mall. I guess that Hollyweird only supports our troops when naked Marxists are in the White House.

The Concert for Valor was a Veterans Day concert that took place on November 11, 2014, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The concert was put together by HBO, Chase, and Starbucks. Wikipedia
Date: November 11, 2014
Location: Washington, D.C.

The fact that the media defends Acosta but says nothing about Carlson Tucker’s family being attacked in their home and his daughter being called her Daddy’s whore shows exactly what the media is.

Anyone with the sense of a pissant should know our President deeply cares about veterans, past, present and future and if his team says no-go that’s good enough for me. I’m not willing to have POTUS put in any kind of danger (or more than he already is).

I don’t know what the answer is, but we’ve got to starve this beast. Maybe cut the cord and go back to antenna TV so they don’t get money from us? I’d miss the entertainment options, but I’m sick of this and I’m willing to take the loss.
