Actually it is an Indian company used to pseudo outsource to India IT jobs. Read what is happening to Verizon.

If it is anything like the last time they were hiring Americans they will all be recent college graduates (freshers) who will have Indian bosses that expect them to work like Indians. Long hours for little money. Most won’t last past 18 months.

Verizon just contracted with Infosys to employ a sizeable number of their technicians.

POS company... Overwhelming majority of the “IT” staff they have are Indians, who overstate their capabilities, constantly cut corners requiring additional rework (which they try to charge for), and have the quality of a typical third world entity. Oh, and you will also have the pleasure of working 20 hours a day - 8-12 during U.S hours and 6-8 hours every evening to accommodate their offshore staff.

Worse yet, they will add significant time and costs to projects they work on, costing companies who hire them millions.

"POS company..."

Indeed they are. I worked for an oilfield services company who contracted Infosys dev/qa and they were terrible. They needed lots and lots of handholding to do their daily work. I'd say of the 200 or so Infosys contractors we had on-site, maybe 3 of them were worth keeping. Additionally, their arrogance was surreal and annoying.

An Indian company that shoves a user’s manual under their employees arms as they walk into a new client site.

I think their motto is
Charge less, know less, do less, bill more.

That has been my experience as well... lower hourly rates, but things suddenly take 2-3 times the people and man hours to complete and at the end you have spaghetti.

All the Americans need is experience.
The Indians are sponsored by the company so it is almost slave labor. If you try to get another job, you get sent home and can’t return. The company talks to them like the phone scammers talk to us.
