Global Cooling – not Global Warming, that we should Fear the Most.
Armstrong Economics ^ | Nov 29, 2018 | Martin Armstrong

Posted on 11/28/2018 10:19:08 PM PST by Tilting

It is incredibly important to understand that as the weather turns bitterly cold in the north, people will begin to migrate south. This not merely cause the Greeks to become the Sea Peoples, but during the Year without a Summer in 1816 even in the States when six inches of snow fell in June and every month of the year had a hard frost, people began to migrate. The temperatures had dropped to as low as 40 degrees in July and August in New York City during 1816. People also called it ‘Eighteen Hundred and Froze to Death’ and the ‘Poverty Year.’ This is what I keep pointing out that cold is what kills society and creates poverty – not warming.

The Year without a Summer sent people fleeing from New England states in search of warmer weather and fertile soils both south and west. It was the weather that began to cause migration in the United States outside of the 13 original states. Thousands of New England families gave up their farms, packed their belongings into wagons and joined the throngs traipsing over rivers and mountains to Pennsylvania and the Ohio River Valley, which includes Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky.

Indeed, between 1810 and 1820, Maine lost as many as 15,000 people. Sixty Vermont towns lost population during that decade as well. The population of 60 more Vermont towns stayed the same while the U.S. population grew 32%. When we examine Massachusetts, we can see that this state gained only 50,000 people from 1810-20, while Ohio gained five times as many. The Massachusetts Legislature tried to hold on to its citizens by passing a homestead act that gave settlers 100 acres of land for $5.

Even during the American Revolution, when John Adams set out to travel to Philadelphia, it was bitterly cold and there was a foot or more of snow covered the landscape which had blanketed Massachusetts from one end of the province to the other. Beneath the snow, after weeks of severe cold, the ground was frozen solid to a depth of two feet. Packed ice in the road made the journey very hazardous. In a letter to his wife, John Adams wrote:

“Indeed I feel not a little out of Humour, from Indisposition of Body. You know, I cannot pass a Spring, or fall, without an ill Turn — and I have had one these four or five Weeks — a Cold, as usual. Warm Weather, and a little Exercise, with a little Medicine, I suppose will cure me as usual. … Posterity! You will never know, how much it cost the present Generation, to preserve your Freedom! I hope you will make a good Use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven, that I ever took half the Pains to preserve it.”

On September 8th, 1816, Jefferson described the weather during the Year without a Summer in a letter to Albert Gallitan:

We have had the most extraordinary year of drought and cold ever known in the history of America. In June, instead of 3¾ inches, our average of rain for that month, we had only 1/3 of an inch; in August, instead of 9 1/6 inches our average, we had only 8/10 of an inch; and it still continues. The summer too has been as cold as a moderate winter. In every state North of this there has been frost in every month of the year; in this state we had none in June and July but those of August killed much corn over the mountains. The crop of corn through the Atlantic states will probably be less than 1/3 of an ordinary one, that of tobacco still less, and of mean quality.

It is Global Cooling – not Global Warming, that we should fear the most. While 1816 was the year we had a major volanic eruption, it also came during the Little Ice Age with Solar Minimum.

Armstrong spends a lot of time pointing out that warming is a good thing and cooling is very bad.

I’ll worry when I see it for myself. I’m done with the chicken littles telling me to worry, and then vote Democrat.

When envioronweenies talk about putting something in the atmosphere to reduce the light of the sun, I fear solar cooling will produce a result that will create mass starvation.

We’d be way better off with a few degrees warmer weather than a few degrees colder weather.

EARTH TO COOL DOWN WARNS GEO SCIENTIST

Scientific reports from Canada and Greenland has indicated that the the shrinking arctic ice sheets have begun to replace themselves rapidly. Strongly suggesting the earth instead of warming, is beginning to cool down. It is still not known (or proven) if this is the result because of the reduced rate of sun spot activity.

Canadian geo scientist Professor R. Timothy Patterson of Carelton University is urging a go-slow on the rush for governments to “Play God” with global warming legislative blaming this on CO2 (carbon dioxide) discharges. Legislating corrections attempting to control a natural cyclic occurrence caused by; sun spots, the magnetic solar wind, and cyclic earth magnetic polarity reversal, among other natural occurrences including volcanism, meteors etc. Probably plays a very significant role in climate change. Yet ignorantly blaming man made CO2 emissions for climatic change. which is becoming a rapidly discredited and minuscule cause of global warming in his article published by Canada’s Financial Post. 6/20/07

Patterson was selected by the Canadian government to study the fluctuations in certain types of fish populations.
While doing so the Canadian Geo-Scientist found a correlation when certain species of fish had high population and then drastic drop offs. He discovered these fluctuations corresponded with sun spot activity and solar radiation vs cosmic activity. When earth cooling occurred.

Studying deep fjords along the Western Canadian coast where deep pools of low oxidation water exist. The Patterson study reached deep into the earths recent past of 4000 years of undisturbed sediments. Patterson found that when aquatic activity was highest and lowest in those collected sediments having high aquatic content had matched known solar protection when the magnetic wind was highest, and dropped off when earth magnetic fields activities were lowest. Thus causing cosmic radiation to intensify.

Then because the earth became unprotected by its magnetic fields from galactic cosmic activity. Patterson cites several accepted theories which concludes this then created cloud activity during such periods which increased drastically. Thus cooling earth and bringing in its ice ages.

In his presentation here is a professor urging more scientific study (like Pope Benedict)is needed. That politicians including Al Gore, of The Earth Is Flat Society, don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. Strongly suggesting that the global warming may be caused by exhaling politicos rather than serious scientific examination.

Patterson seems to be saying before Canadians start investing in palm trees they should be considering better parkas because what goes up must come down and the Mexicans better move over for a reverse population flow. The story was featured in The Drudge Report, and World Net Daily, which were linked in The US Mat’s last page. But lost due to source link changes

“Indeed I feel not a little out of Humour, from Indisposition of Body..Adams said.

He could have just said “i’m in a bad @#$@#ING mood because i’m @#$#$ING sick again!!!” :)

But seriously, the whole paragraph of what he actually said, even saying he would regret all he did if future generations don’t preserve liberty, is incredible and powerful.

If, or rather when it happens again... a lot of frozen water pipes to contend with.

Life becomes cold, short and brutal.

Fear gets you to look at what you can do to prepare for whatever you fear.

Fear is not a bad thing. It is a survival response. If it spurs you to action then it is good. If it causes you to freeze (no pun intended) then you probably would not have survived in any case.

As Joe Bastardi over at weatherbell.com likes to point out, any warming taking place at the poles happening during the winter months resulting in even (exaggerating) a 20 degree spike up and it will be still be miserably cold and well below freezing. Bastardi says any warming during the summer months is to be watched but has been pretty much normal in recent years esp. at the northern ice cap.

He also points out that it is difficult to warm the planet after reaching today’s norms as no new higher all time highs have been recorded.

Of course Al Gore has an answer for all this, just send him money.

During the last 2.5 million years the Earth has flucuated between Ice Age and warming trends. The Holocene, of which we are living is the longest period of warmth in the last 2.5 million years. Think about it. We need SUV’s to keep the planet warm so we don’t starve to death...

After the end of the Younger Dryas, there was a period of warmth called the Climate Optimum...the name has changed to confuse those not familiar with that period, but it lasted about 3 to 4 thousand years. It was the period of the Goddess, you know, those little roly-poly fecund female statues...Anyway it started to get cold again...That is when war started, when resources were scarce. Settlements now needed fortifications, and thus modern civilization was born...We need warmth to survive and not to starve.

Professor Valentina Zharkova: The Solar Magnet Field and the Terrestrial Climate

Her ad-hoc team has decoded the causes of the solar sun-spot cycle and added planetary orbital effects to make a solid prediction that we are going to have 50-350 years of colder Winters and hotter Summers in the Northern Hemisphere. It has already started, but will become really apparent in 3-5 years.

Accept as you already know, there is no verifiable evidence that SUV or any other CO2 emissions from anthropogenic sources has any measurable influence on worldwide temperatures.

You can bet our crack team of climate change scientists are working hard to come up with a man made cause for the cooling climate. Can’t let those research monies dry up.

The problem is that climate is a very difficult thing to predict, and is probably beyond our present science. There are too many combinations of variables and most of them are unknown. Ask a liberal who claims global warming is settled science to explain the butterfly effect. His typical flustered and incorrect response will demonstrate how much he knows about science related to climate.

Yep. A super grand solar minimum is on the way, and millions of climate refugees will be heading south.

Fear gets you to look at what you can do to prepare for whatever you fear.

for me, knowledge provides the motivation to avoid danger.
fear is useful in fight-or-flight instinctive reaction.
but, if fear is your prime motivation, you'll just flee one thing-then another, especially if media is providing the impetus.

try to use your intellect instead of your fear instinct unless the danger is immediate.

Watch the video!! It turns out that the Sun is a finely tuned machine. Several circulating currents beat together to make the magnetosphere seem chaotic.
