If the President has to shut down the government to get the necessary funding, he should do it without hesitation
We have heard the chants for three years, “Build the Wall!” It was the number one reason why Americans elected Donald Trump as President in 2016. Unfortunately, it is the most glaring unfulfilled promise of the Trump presidency.
Although the President wants a border wall, he needs Congress to fund the construction. Until now, Congress has only provided an anemic $1.6 billion for the border wall. This pathetic amount is nowhere near the $25 billion that is actually needed to properly build a wall that will stop the influx of illegal aliens.
“SAY GOODBYE TO AMERICA”
And all the global government types said AMEN!
The President could siphon off more than enough money from the Army budget alone to build the wall.
Canadians understand and value America more than Democrats.
Take from the military budget? Sure if you want to keep losing our warriors to plane crashes that result from old equipment, and hey, why worry about the Chinese and Russian military build ups, we can get by and n ur reputations, right?
We need a wall but not at the expense of the military. Cut 10% from every department except the military across the country.
I’m starting to say that I’ll fund the wall. Hell, Personally. I’ll find a way.
I’ll pay for it only if we can put all the dems on the other side of it.

I hate to have to ask it, but what happens to the Wall the next time a Democrat occupies the White House? My best guess is that the Wall will come tumbling down.
The GOP had two golden years (2017 and 2018) to fix the illegal immigration problem: no government benefits unless you are a citizen, harsh penalties for those who hire illegals, etc.
Sorry for the pessimism, but I don’t think that chance will come again. Welcome to the fall of the Roman Empire replayed.
Just so you know I don't believe in large standing Armies. Especially armies that can't/won't defend our borders. Just reduce the Army size and increase the BP/ICE, direct transfer. What good is gallivanting around the world if the southern border overrun? Obama turned the Army into a social experiment anyway. R U telling me the US Army can't live without $25B over four years? LOL
That’s not the root cause, liberal indoctrination is the root cause. It’s the liberal elite who have promoted open borders.
People are being programmed to vote for democrats. Have been for 50 years. The liberal educational indoctrination has to change, but I doubt it will.

Democrats WANT the United States destroyed - that’s WHY they fight the border wall.
I immediately transmitted this to all the world leaders. Expect contact from them immediately on their plans to disarm based on your input.

Democrats want the votes, they do not care about anything else.
Power is more important to them. More Government means more power! Someone will have to pay for more and more Government.

That’s crazy talk, unless your country is protected by oceans.
Oh, wait. The United States is protected by oceans. So I stand corrected. You’re right. A small, nimble, and lethal US army - backed by a large trained reserve - would work out just fine.
Now, Europe is different. There are no oceans between them and the Russian bear. That’s their problem. Let them raise - and fund - their own armies.
Bingo! Of course the democrats will in effect install ladders over any wall. And we sit around discussing if Trump did anything “illegal”. We also allowed a cloture rule in the Senate that will result in the end of America.
If we don't build that Wall now, there might not be a GOP left!!!!!

This is a fact.
The people who need to fund it aren't going to. This is also a fact.
There might be something that looks like a wall. A few miles here, a few miles there, built for billions of dollars to keep certain segments of voters happy but this will be all. It will be illusory and wholly ineffective.
Doesn't really matter. We've been letting millions of illegal and legal immigrants alike into this country who are hostile to our ethics and values and they've been breeding like rabbits.
"Build the wall" was a good election slogan to rally the voters but it was never really anything more than that.
