Back on October 19, 2017, I raised the question of just how much Special Counsel Robert Mueller and Deputy AG actually knew about Hillary Clinton and Uranium One since it had been reported that the FBI was aware before the deal was approved in 2010 that Russia was engaging in criminal activity to penetrate our nuclear industry and gain access to chunks of our uranium reserves.
Earlier, in July, I called for a criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s collusion with Russia to turn over control of 20 percent of our uranium supplies to Russian interests in return for some $145 million in donation to the Clinton Foundation. It turns out that there was one, an FBI investigation dating back to 2009, with current Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller up to their eyeballs in covering up evidence of Hillary’s collusion, bordering on treason, with Vladimir Putin’s Russia:
Prior to the Obama administration approving the very controversial deal in 2010 giving Russia 20% of America’s Uranium, the FBI had evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were involved in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering in order to benefit Vladimir Putin, says a report by The Hill….John Solomon and Alison Spann writing in The Hill reported on an investigation that suddenly and mysteriously vanished off the radar as Hillary Clinton was seriously contemplating being Obama’s successor:

Robert Mueller was head of the FBI from Sept 2001-Sept 2013 until James Comey took over as FBI Director in 2013. They were BOTH involved in this Russian scam being that this case started in 2009 and ended in 2015.
We may soon find just how much Robert Mueller was involved in killing a serious investigation into Uranium One, making him an unindicted co-conspirator in Hillary Clinton’s selling out American national security in exchange for Russian donations to the Clinton Foundation.
Dennis Nathan Cain is a Department of Justice whistleblower who had obtained documents showing how Robert Mueller failed to properly investigate Uranium One and Hillary’s involvement in it, actually aiding and abetting a cover-up to protect her presidential ambitions. As The Daily Wire reports:
In a stunning display, a man who is a recognized government watchdog and had given Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz documents showing federal officials ignored the relationship among Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, and Rosatom, the Russian company that purchased Uranium One, had his home raided by the FBI, despite the fact that his status was protected by law....Why would the FBI, once headed by a director who had investigated Russia and Uranium One, raid Cain’s home? The FBI might have not known that the documents, or which documents, had already been legally turned over by Cain and possibly was trying to seize the documents to protect Mueller himself. Yet Cain himself told agents at his door of his legally protected status and the documents they sought had been turned over to the proper authorities> Either they didn’t believe him or did not care:As Richard Pollock of The Daily Caller reports, “The delivered documents also show that then-FBI Director Robert Mueller failed to investigate allegations of criminal misconduct pertaining to Rosatom and to other Russian government entities attached to Uranium One, the document reviewed by TheDCNF alleges.”...
Socarrs confirmed that the documents were all legally transferred to Horowitz and then the congressional committees. He stated, “After asking and getting my approval to do so, DOJ IG Michael Horowitz had a member of his staff physically take Mr. Cain’s classified document disclosure to the House and Senate Intelligence committees.” He continued, “For the bureau to show up at Mr. Cain’s home suggesting that those same documents are stolen federal property, and then proceed to seize copies of the same documents after being told at the house door that he is a legally protected whistleblower who gave them to Congress, is an outrageous disregard of the law.”...

Consider this: The article talks about this as Mueller's raid but it was conducted by the FBI and Mueller doesn't control the FBI anymore. He may have asked for it, but that indicates that someone at a high level (Ray? Rosenstein? Both?) is in on it. When one considers that Mueller is likely not protecting only himself, but also many other power brokers of both parties who knew and facilitated various nefarious schemes over the years then the answer to your question becomes very likely that "they wanted that raid to happen, that's why."

This should not slowdown the whistleblower in any way, anyway! Because a SMART WB would have all data copied and ferreted away from such “prying eyes”!! If not, to hell with the WB for being stupid!

the mystery here is whether it was Team Mueller who did the raid or team someone else. This is not clear to me as yet.
Oh, he’s done crimes and cover ups against the US for decades.
