The Left’s War on Women Just Keeps Building

Hey, Bloomberg caught onto this reality just yesterday:

Bloomberg Opinion ✔ @bopinion - No dinners with female colleagues - Don’t sit next to them on flights - Book hotel rooms on different floors - Avoid one-on-one meetings

Wall Street's controversial strategies for the #MeToo era are making life even harder for women https://bloom.bg/2RvZYzx

Wall Street Rule for the #MeToo Era: Avoid Women at All Cost No more dinners with female colleagues. Don’t sit next to them on flights. Book hotel rooms on different floors. Avoid one-on-one meetings.

bloomberg.com 1,353 people are talking about this Twitter Ads info and privacy So think about this: The #MeToo movement has ensured that in today’s corporate environment, any man who is accused of anything that could be remotely defined to be “harassment” will be automatically presumed guilty and most likely summarily fired by the company, unless he is a very well-known liberal senior executive, in which case it takes a little while longer for him to be fired, plus he gets a huge severance package like Les Moonves.

What, someone really believed that that environment would not create some sort of backlash? Hell, the stuff talked about in that article isn’t even really a backlash – it’s simple self-defense.

And the truth is, this is nothing new – the focus on sexual harassment in the workplace and the need to find ways to avoid it came about in the 1970s. I worked in the corporate world for 40 years, starting in 1979. More than 20 years ago, I made the personal decision to never take a one-on-one meeting with a female peer or subordinate in an office with the door closed. It wasn’t that I didn’t trust and respect the women I worked with – it was just that you couldn’t take the risk of being accused of anything like that. Because once an accusation is made, whether it is true or not, your reputation at that company is forever damaged.

Having said all of that, sexual harassment in the workplace is a despicable act that needs to be punished. It is honestly mind-boggling to me that we are here in the year 2018, after 40 years of focus on this issue, and there are still men who think this kind of boorish behavior is somehow acceptable. It isn’t, you clowns.

But the way to punish it is not to suspend rules of evidence and the presumption of innocence for the accused, as the leftists in the #MeToo movement insist. What the Bloomberg article truly demonstrates is that this rush to persecute, regardless of how many innocent people become ensnared, actually does more harm to career women than it helps.

It’s just one more aspect of the political left’s war on women, and that war is very real. The rights of genetic females are being diminished in our society every day. You have the Democrat Party and its judges fully in support of the effort by our news media and pop culture to normalize Sharia Law and the genital mutilation practices of some Muslim sects; you have Democrats passing laws that allow people with male genitalia to use the same public restrooms as your wives and daughters; you have people with male genitalia and musculature being allowed to take athletic trophies away from little girls and share locker rooms with them at many schools. You have a supporter of Sharia Law serving for two years now as co-chair of something called the Women’s March, and a woman-abusing buddy of Louis Farrakhan recently getting elected as the Democrat Attorney General of Minnesota. It’s a real war, ladies, and you’re the target. And head’s up: It isn’t conservatives who are fighting it.

The only sure-fire way for any man to avoid becoming the next victim of the pound-me-too movement is to simply not hire women, period.

No women in the workforce, no problem.

THAT is the reality that the left's war on women is creating.

So Pence has it right? Why don’t they come out and say it? I think I am going to enjoy the next two years.

The radical lefts continues policy of pu$$y whipping America has reached new levels of vitriol. Soon you will find that the rights to pu$$y will be confiscated by the state, tightly rationed, regulated for health reasons, controlled and taxed.(Sarc.)

That pu$$y whipping sure attracts a lot of voters and support. Ask Megyn Kelly!

My husband and all three sons know to not be alone with a female at work for anything.

Pence was being made fun of for the same stance. Now he’s vindicated. Love it

But don’t get rid of ALL female employees! A female doctor delivered me in 1951. Female docs were VERY rare then. Blessed that she was there!

And my mom worked to put food on our table, for 50 years, dad worked too. We were very poor Okies. Blessed that both worked, and took us to church! Taught us great work ethics!

Not ALL women are evil feminists.

Not a chance. I always hired the best possible person for each position. About a third of them were women, and I would never pass up someone who would boost my profits simply because she was female. However, evaluating temperament was a top priority during interviews, and I rejected multiple women (and men) because they struck me as jerks or as likely lawsuits. And people with diversity courses on their transcript? I never even considered hiring one of them.

Don’t sit next to them on flights. Book hotel rooms on different floors. Avoid one-on-one meetings.

They're forgetting a rule that's been around for decades now: don't make eye contact.

But, to cover all of those rules with a single one, the rules should be summarized with:

Don't interact with women at all.

“THAT is the reality that the left’s war on women is creating.”

This is why as a man I chose to work from home. I could go into the office everyday, but I chose not to just for this reason.

+1.

I learned very early on in my career by watching others, to never be alone with a woman in the workplace. Period. I saw careers get ruined by stupid choices fellow co-workers made when dealing with their female counterparts.

I certainly didn't know it at the time since it was the late 80's through the late 90's however the "Mike Pence rule" is exactly correct and how one protects themselves and the females they work with in the workplace.

The last part of the above sentence is often overlooked by many: and the females they work with in the workplace.

When I was a hiring manager, I did the same thing as you: I hired the most qualified person for the job independent of any "diversity" factors. The result was I had a very good mix of people who were very talented and who worked extremely well together. That's how it's supposed to be and even with all that, I knew the rules were different when dealing with a female direct report than with a male.

That's just how it was, is, and always will be.

Logically this should also apply to interactions with openly gay men. Isn’t that homophobia though? I’m confused.

“Not ALL women are evil feminists.”

I agree wholeheartedly as Mrs. BCC and I have our 32nd wedding anniversary today.

BUT!, the left is making it almost impossible for men and women to interact. Is it the goal of the left to assure that no prudent people procreate?

Thank God I swooped in on my bride while it was still socially acceptable for me to suggest my intentions of dating only a woman interested in becoming a wife and mother. And thankful for the good timing that her man picker was on the blink at the time...

Diversity courses are requirements for any degree in most Universities, now. They’re on transcripts because students had no choice but to take them.

MY 33 year old and beautiful daughter is a CPA in a moderate sized firm and no doubt has had her share of guys hitting on her one way or another. So, I have “some” sympathy for the so called “me too” movement.

That said, FEMINISM itself is at the heart of this latest assault on women. Many of us executive types have been doing all this stuff for 40 years or more. I never met alone with a woman, door always open, never traveled with them, got to where I quit hiring them and so on.

So, for decades, many women have not been hired just because they are a WOMAN...………….period! It’s something that can’t be prosecuted. The LEFT thinks a lawsuit will fix anything. It won’t. And FEAR of women in the workplace (and their lawyers) is here to stay.

It’s high time we cloistered men and women.

Then there would be no problems.

THAT is the reality that the left's war on women is creating.

That reality dovetails very nicely with the womens policies of national socialism: "children, kitchen and church".

And the liberals will never see a bit of irony.

My mother was born in ‘29. She wanted to be a doctor, but was told that just wasn’t a profession for women. Mom always held a bit of a grudge about that.

All these “Equality movements” aren’t about equality, they are about dominance. None of the people want to be equal to coworkers they want to be equal to the boss.

Bullshit! Intelligence and conscientiousness are the two biggest predictors of success in the workplace. Not sex.

I hired plenty of people over the years.

There are not any hiring managers anywhere that are hiring less qualified men over women, and\or paying men more to do the same work...period! It ain't happening.

As a matter of fact women are preferred in order to meet "diversity" requirements.

This article is correct, any negative effects on female hiring practices can be laid at the feet of the pound me too movement
