Looking at the actions and decisions being made by the 20-40 year old crowd today, I don’t think there is enough true American believers left to stop the leftists...

It depends on the speed of the encroachment.

If it is done gradually, the answer is no.
If it is done rapidly, the answer is maybe.

I can think of no * reasonable * scenario where a critical mass on the Right would rise up. Individuals might rise up, and then get swatted down. And many more might engage in passive resistance.

But it ain’t 1776 anymore. As just one example of that, we put up with a tax rate today that is much worse than the old Stamp Tax of colonial days. Nobody much cares today...because it was done gradually.
