...BuzzFeed’s Anthony Cormier admitted to CNN’s Alisyn Camerota that he had “not personally” seen the evidence supporting the report he co-authored, a report claiming that Donald Trump directed Michael Cohen to lie during congressional testimony.
The thing is, Jason Leopold, who co-authored the report with Cormier, went on MSNBC later and pretty strongly contradicted Cormier:

It’s it odd that Mueller passed Cohen to SDNY? If he had this evidence on Trump, he would have kept Cohen to himself for sure.
Maybe the expert panelists on CNN can explain this inconsistency.

Mueller would have given Cohen the Rick Gates get out of jail free card if Cohen had the goods on Trump. I think it is that simple. Add to that, SDNY made Cohen a worthless witness with all the perjury charges.
