Democrat/Media Catholic Bashing Has 3 Letters In Mind: RBG

The Afternoon Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Many of you have probably figured this out, but it’s important to point out that the recent Democrat/Media focus on demonizing Catholics and Catholicism in general has one thing in mind:

Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Ginsburg is likely to be off the Supreme Court soon, either by choice or by death, and her most likely replacement nominated by President Trump will be Amy Coney Barrett. Ms. Barrett is a brilliant legal mind, currently a judge on the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, and one of a handful of most qualified people in America to replace Ginsburg.

She also happens to be — wait for it — Catholic. The Democrats have already assaulted Barrett for her Catholocism during her confirmation hearings for her current job. Despicable Sen. Dianne Feinstein made big news when she told Judge Barrett that “the [Catholic] dogma lives loudly within you, and that’s a concern” during that hearing, which took place in April of last year. More recently, Feinstein was joined by the even more despicable Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono and CA Sen. Kamala Harris in efforts to demonize Federal District Judge nominee Brian Beuscher for his membership in the Catholic Knights of Columbus organization:

“The Knights of Columbus has taken a number of extreme positions. For example, it was reportedly one of the top contributors to California’s Proposition 8 campaign to ban same-sex marriage,” Hirono asked Brian Buescher, Trump’s nominee for an open U.S. Federal District Court position, in a series of written questions. “If confirmed, do you intend to end your membership with this organization to avoid any appearance of bias?”

Of course, now we have this current days-long response to an event that was staged by a professional leftist activist, demonizing first a group of teenagers who were minding their own business, then their Covington Catholic High School that organized their field trip, and now Catholic/private education in general.

Obviously, the Democrat/media plan is to create an advance narrative in the public mind that anyone who is associated with the Catholic Church is unqualified to hold public office, in the hopes of hanging this test of heinous religious bigotry around Judge Barrett’s neck when she comes before them as the nominee to replace Ginsburg. So if you’ve been wondering what all of this anti-Catholic hysteria coming from Democrats and the fake news media recently has been all about, well, wonder no more.

Yes, it is the very definition of religious bigotry; yes, it is the very definition of un-American; yes, it is morally-depraved and utterly despicable. But hey, these are leftists we’re talking about here, so none of that should come as any surprise, should it?

Nothing the Democrats or media do is spontaneous anymore – everything is just part of a narrative.

The line of thinking makes sense for the Democrats.
For the rest of the world it looks like out of control religious bigotry. They are going to push it too hard and fail just as with the Judge Brett situation.

Suggest a reading of a current article on Franklin and the Free Press which may provide background and perspective on our current dilemma involving the partisan press we now endure.

While Trump picking another supreme justice is certainly a good thing I think the advantages for conservatives are WAY overblown. We put way to much faith in "conservative" judges to be conservative and act that way on the court.

I don't care if the President got to hand pick every person on the court. If those picked make it through senate confirmation they will still side with government.

Note the recent move by the court to NOT HEAR the DACA case brought by the Trump administration. This leaves DACA protections in place. So much for that conservative court. The court has too many ways to dodge an issue and keep government in control of our lives and they are going to continue to do that no matter how many justices President Trump gets to choose.

If we want to reestablish limited government it will have to be done through a Convention Of States. This should be clear to everyone by now.

I expect them to use the constitution as their guide ONLY, not to “be conservatives”.

I have fully believed that this was about RBG ultimately.
