"DROP THE IGUANA!!!"
That was the angry park ranger in this video ordering The Iguana Man to BREAK THE LAW and release an invasive species iguana back into the wild here in notorious Broward County Florida.
Check out the really bad attitude of this park ranger who seems to have some authority issues going on. Oh, and also a complete lack of people skills.
My recommendation is that whatever park department this park ranger belongs to provide retraining for him in the form of perhaps The Iguana Man himself teaching this park ranger how to humanely capture and dispose of the invasive species iguanas. Perhaps The Iguana Man could use it to make a training video starring that same park ranger so that other park rangers can learn from it on how to properly capture and dispose of iguanas.

From my experience in recent years, hiring in the Park Service(or whatever they call it now) is some kind of weird affirmative action that excludes all considerations of competence, intelligence, and human decency.

Nope. This is Broward County. If that park ranger was local county or municipality, it was probably a plum job he got. He obviously unfamiliar about the laws regarding invasive species because releasing iguanas here into the wild is a big No-No.

It looks a little too staged. It also looks like the ranger’s car says “Dave Park Ranger”.

If it’s just a Davie town park ranger, then his job is definitely political. Which also explain his apparent ignorance about the law of invasive species. In fact, there is almost nothing more that you can do to hurt parks and native wildlife in Florida than to release invasive species such as that iguana back into the wild.
Definitely NOT staged. That park ranger's attitude is all too typical of many Democrat public officials in notorious Broward County. Think our FORMER Broward Sheriff as well as FORMER Broward Supervisor of Elections. They all have that "How dare you question mah authoritah" attitude.
I see a lot of videos with cops, also, putting their ego ahead of the constitution. They’re not hiring bright folks, their hiring dumb folks who blindly follow orders from superiors and like to push others around
In this case, if it is a DAVIE town park ranger the job is definitely political which explains the attitude problem as well as the astounding ignorance of the law regarding regarding invasive species. Again, keep in mind this took place in notorious Broward County.
