An account that I read said the cat was a juvenile. Size matters. Not saying this was not a big deal, but that depends on how big the cat was. From what I have read, we just don’t know that.

I think CO has the largest cats left in NA. They can reach about 150lbs, iirc.

So, when the LSM/gub'mint says "juvenile", is that like a 19 year old male still in middle school is still considered a juvie for criminal charges?

If our cats were only 3 or four times their size meaning they were about 40 lbs. I would be afraid of them. Their claws are like needles and razors. I tried to catch one of the wilder ones and she bit through a welding glove and through the flesh between my thumb and forefinger. She was ready to rumble.
