Lenny! It's your great grand-daughter, Alexandria! AOC visits Lenin's Tomb

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (aka AOC, Occasional Cortex, and Flashdunce) paid a fake visit to Moscow where she visited Lenin's Tomb.  A brief conversation ensued:

Alexandria:

Lenny!  It's your great grand-daughter, Alexandria!  Glad to finally meet you!

Boy are you a sight for sore eyes.  How long has it been?  1924?  Why that would be 95 years! You're looking mighty chipper there, Lenny.

Hey, Cousin Bernie and Jane send their best.  Remember how they visited you a few decades back when they honeymooned in Moscow?

All the history department profs at BU (Bolshevik University) thought you were so cool.  You were first to put Marx's Socialst and Communist theories into action: the destruction of Capitalism, the takeover of private property, the totally planned economy, and State elimination of the wealthy risk-taking and job-creating classes.

You led the way to future Communist success stories: Stalin, Mao in China, Pol Pot in Cambodia, Castro in Cuba, and Maduro in Venezuala.

But just one thing that's frustrating, Lenny.  Lots of Deplorable working people actually hate you.  I know, it's weird because your ideals are so perfect and lead to the Free Stuff society.  So what's your advice for me to take back home?

Lenin:

Thanks for your visit, Alex.  The secret is to nurture idealistic young people.  Remember: a lie told often enough becomes the truth.  Work with Fake News.  They are experts at this.

Since his death in 1924, Vladimir Lenin's body has been lying in state for visitors to see him in his Moscow tomb.  Each year he's given a fresh set of clothes.

Hey poconopundit, my buddy said he heard her referred to as “Occasional-Cortex” by Glenn Beck, and I read an article on TownHall the other day and saw it...

Hahahahaha...I know a famous person now!

I had a complete mind-blank the other day, and couldn’t remember what Freeper coined that moniker, and thought it might have been a little elbow grease...when I saw your thread, I remembered!

So, milagro...it was poconopundit who coined that phrase “Occasional-Cortex”! (Apologies to you, a little elbow grease, for erroneously increasing your fame due to my inability to remember!)

“...the majority of millennials are in sore need of an education detailing the horrors of an ideology they appear to embrace.”

I’m not sure anything short of a World War (where they have to leave the comforts of their parents’ basements, or their local Campus and FIGHT ‘for reals’) will awaken them from their idiotic slumber. How many of our OWN Grandparents and Parents took up arms in WWII, Korea or Vietnam? Are we learning NOTHING from the endless Middle East ‘Mission’? (ODS Vet, 1990-1992. IMHO? No, we have not.)

They’re all FOR changing the world via Rainbows, Butterflies and Unicorns...as long as it doesn’t INCONVENIENCE them and like, they have to DO anything other than post about it on Social Media. *ROLLEYES*

I see it in fully HALF of my own Nieces and Nephews! The OTHER half (the ones I admit to loving more, LOL!) are in the Military right now, or in Trade Schools learning to DO things and MAKE things of value for their fellow human beings.

Sorry. Being a SJW does nothing for anyone!

(Man, I’m getting old and CRANKY, LOL!)

LOL. Thanks, rlmorel. I got my 15 minutes of fame.

Meanwhile, Cortez did a good thing for herself by inventing AOC for her twitter account -- and it's caught on.

Occasional Cortex used to have 26 million hits on Google and now has only 11 million. AOC is now gone to 25 million.

What I'm watching now is Flash Dunce. Did you read the two people on this thread who keeled over laughing -- one guying spitting out his coffee when they heard that term!

I heard the term yesterday and today did this meme. Google only has 5 hits for Flashdunce now. But knowing that FR can grow a catchy name, I have high hopes it will take off soon!

What's funny: for the longest time, Bing didn't really recognize Occasional Cortex, but now it has 89 million hits with AOC Cortez lagging today 4 million. Bing is way behind the trend line.

Hey, that’s a cool watermellon. Be great to produce that for a party. I think producing that is tougher than it looks.

You know, I get pretty angry on the state of things, but I laugh pretty easily about this stuff... thank goodness, and thanks for your contributions!

My Dad fought at D-Day Normandy and D-Day Okinawa.

We’ve got it easy. Create a few meme and comments on FR, Twitter, family. Collectively we can save our republic.

Diana. We’ve got the same problem in our family.

I think the nieces and nephews of the current generation has never seen America as we knew it — when working hard was what was required. Yeah, it’s tough, but there’s great satisfaction at winning and looking back at accomplishing something.

We’re only two years into Trump’s Presidency of 8 years. And already minds are getting “woke”. Hopefully in another six years America will have turned the corner.

It’s gonna require a lot of work to get it done. But we can do it.

Agreed.

I was also VERY happy to learn that another Niece is now a certified Welder! I gave her the BIGGEST HUG when I saw her at a family gathering today, and I made a HUGE deal out of it.

I know...I’m considered the ‘Crazy Aunt’ but it gets the job done! :)

Wow, a woman welder. That's unusual. Very cool. Maybe you can send her this meme I put together:
