The numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say that 64,070 people died from drug overdoses in 2016. That's up 21% from the year before. So you can imagine what the numbers would be nowadays...
If that's not a national emergency what the hell would be.??

I took my first Uber ride this past fall in Las Vegas (writer’s convention, not pleasure visit). The driver couldn’t stop talking about how Vegas has been run into the ground by the Democrats. He said the north side of the city has been taken over by Illegals and he refuses to drive up there anymore because he gets ripped off. His solution was to pick up his family and move out of state.

I don’t know what it is about Democrats wanting third world filth in their cities. It goes against everything American, and it goes against common sense. It amazes me we even have to debate something so obviously a slam dunk (keeping illegals out with a wall). Here we are with the same old bills in Congress. Pork-stuffed and not even addressing the problem in a meaningful way.

Be interesting to see how Trump handles this.

Yes, the "local democrats" dislike what the illegals and the democrats are doing to their homes and their jobs and their hometowns, but they have been taught (forced) by their unions, their porofessors, their news media most of all to hate republicans even more.

I don’t think Trump cares a whit what the traitors in Congress put in their “home security” bill. He is bound and determined to protect this country, even if he eventually needs to defy a ruling by the Supreme Court to do so.
