Students at [middle school] are invited to participate in GLSEN's Day of Silence on April 12th, 2019. It's a national youth movement highlighting the silence and erasure of LGBTQ students at school. Nearly 4 in 5 LGBTQ students don’t see positive LGBTQ representation in their curriculum, nearly 8 in 10 experience verbal harassment, and almost a third miss school for feeling unsafe or uncomfortable. What does it mean to say that "nearly 4 in 5 LGBTQ students don’t see positive LGBTQ representation in their curriculum"? Is the curriculum supposed to tout the benefits of sodomy and genital mutilation? Which are what exactly?
If pro-life students wanted a school-recognized day of silence on behalf of unborn children who will never speak, how would the schools respond?
They seek to normalize their behavior to achieve easier access to MOLEST YOUR CHILDREN!

Where has Betsy DeVos been? Last I heard she got intimidated and instead of putting the hammer down on Common Core, the DOE was going to ‘study’ it for 300 days.

Parents need to smarten up and do what it takes to either homeschool or private Catholic or Jewish school.

I don't want my children to taunt gay classmates, but the school has stated that a student merely using "gay" as a derogatory term ("those pants are gay") when talking to another student is a "microaggression".

What a joke. I thought all THEY wanted was to be left alone, allowed to love and live with who they wanted without discrimination. Then THEY wanted to be able to provide benefits to their partner. Then THEY wanted to be able to marry, have children. Then THEY wanted to force Christians to bake their wedding cakes. Then THEY want homosexuality to be accepted and taught in schools. NOW it isn’t enough, they want the world to bow to them.
Nothing will ever make them happy. Truth is, they are mentally disturbed, miserable people who will NEVER be content because of their deviancy and instead of being responsible for their unhappiness, others must be the cause.
I think a GLSEN day of silence is great!

When I was a junior HS student back in the Pleistocene,!NOBODY was assumed to be gay. So if you called your classmates. Gay, Fag, Homo it was to get them to do something that they shouldn’t do and your parents would whoop you for doing. You didn’t badger anyone for being gay, you shamed them into ‘being a man’ Even if you were only 12.
It wasn’t a bad thing. Yeah it was a good thing.

Nope. Ain’t nobody going to be silent that day (if only for a single freakin’ day!).
The “Day of Silence” is allegedly a student-initiated movement. They claim that administrators and instructors aren’t involved in the planning. So Devos doesn’t really have a say in this.
But they are lying. Schools push this poison.
