These leftist idiots would really like to see him die
So said some of the demonstrators at a protest in front of the legislative buildings. Under the previous Liberal government, Ontario became the largest indebted sub-sovereign entity IN THE WORLD. Doug Ford and the PC Party swept to power on the promise to reduce spending and lower or eliminate taxes, especially the job killing cap and trade imposed to save the world from climate change and make friends of the Liberal Party rich along the way.
By and large, Ford is doing what he promised to do. As expected, there are constant demonstrations against the cuts the PC government is making. Expected cries of “people are going to die” can be heard on a daily basis. Those who demand the government give them things paid for by other people are out in full force whining and crying.

When (& if) the leftist cities & states in the US conclude their socialist experiments, they will demand their resulting wreckage be cleaned up by the successful parts of the country. They will have tons of information, but no true knowledge, and certainly no wisdom. They will have traveled the path they chose for themselves, but the world will be to blame for the resulting failures.
Ontario sucks the life blood out of Canadian flyover country. Countryside Canada needs to organize compacts and demand approval veto power over the Socialist coasts. Hey, Canada, prosperity is called a Republic, incrementally establish one.
It’s Canada. Who cares?
