The Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez primary is heating up.
For the second time in five days, the star freshman congresswoman is appearing alongside Bernie Sanders at a high-profile event. Rep. Ro Khanna, co-chairman of Sanders' campaign, is talking with Ocasio-Cortez's staff about the primary. And Sanders' team told POLITICO that he and Ocasio-Cortez "have had phone calls.”
Ocasio-Cortez's work on Sanders' 2016 campaign — and the fact that several staffers from that bid went on to work for her and the pro-Ocasio-Cortez group Justice Democrats — suggest the Vermont senator has the inside track for her coveted endorsement. But Sen. Elizabeth Warren is making an aggressive pitch for Ocasio-Cortez's nod, too: She’s met with her privately and wrote a gushing essay about her for Time magazine. An aide to Warren said their teams have been in touch.

Yeah, this endorsement is not nearly as valuable as the media pretends. They created Sandy Cortez, but her own party in NY is furious with her - as is Pelosi.

private companies—LLCs—to siphon off campaign contributions from her various PACs for personal use......
AND THIS—Saikat Chakrabarti, is a proven tech expert.
(A) He co-founded a web design tool,
(B) He built up the product team at the payment processor “Stripe”.........
(C) He then came to the Sanders campaign after (cough) growing disillusioned with the tech world.
Saikat Chakrabarti was Bernie’s Director of Organizing Technology. Even old man Bernie knew enough to hire a tech expert.
So, I guess (smirk) Chakrabarti’s tech skills musta come in mighty handy when donations to Bernie were
wire-transferred to the DNC and ended up in 2016 candidate Hillary’s account.
Debbie W/S headed the DNC at the time and was ousted b/c of her bias for Hillary.

Now the stunning details about that FEC complaint:
The FEC complaint asserts that AOC’s COS, Saikat Chakrabarti, early on established two PACs that raised big bucks for AOC’s campaign:
<><> the “Brand New Congress PAC,” and,
<><> the “Justice Democrats PAC.”
After mucho money was raised, Chakrabarti systematically transferred $885,000+ in PAC contributions to his private companies with similar names:
<><> the “Brand New Campaign LLC,” and,
<><> the “ Brand New Congress LLC.”
Saikat Chakrabarti’s private companies, unlike PACs, are exempt from reporting all of their significant expenditures.
NOTE WELL: it’s a much-used criminal act to enrich oneself, to open bank accounts using similarly named
entities to siphon off money, to hide it from partners, associates, investors etc.
SIPHONINGS A CINCH It’s easy to siphon off money for oneself by putting checks into the new accounts with similar names, depositing checks that were made out to
the original entity. Even your bank advises that if a check-writer “mis-spelled” your name, to just endorse the check with the correct name.
AND PRESTO: a check made out to Brand New Congress PAC, is deposited in the Brand New Congress LLC account.
ANALYSIS -— Chakrabarti’s companies appear to have been set up for the sole purpose of obscuring how AOC’s donations were used. The arrangement skirted reporting requirements and may have violated the $5,000 limit on contributions, according to the FEC complaint filed by the National Legal and Policy Center, a government watchdog group.
Campaign finance attorneys described the arrangement as “really weird” and an indication “there’s something amiss.” They said there was no way of telling where the political donations went — meaning (A) the donations could have been pocketed, or, (B) used by the LLC’s to pay for off-the-books campaign operations.-—SNIP-—SOURCED FROM FR.

Where AOC’s endorsement is very important is in congressional primaries. It is in automatic democrat districts that AOC’s handlers plan on reshaping America. A few hundred thousands of Soros’ cash can flip a democrat congressman to another AOC clone. This is the reason no democrat tells the radical female freshmen to pipe down, they are afraid of being primaried.
Liz, I knew that post was by you. Whenever I see a lengthy post jam-packed with information and interesting insights and questions, I know it’s you. The Dem representative in the neighboring district wanted Amazon (it wasn’t even in Sandy Cortez’ district), and had this noob help derail it.
Late-night TV is trying to make Cortez a thing; her own party will probably primary her out - or eliminate her district altogether when they lose more seats (this happened to Anthony Weiner’s district in the past).
I really think she is the Soros wave of the future. Soros can spread a few million around and flip a number of democrat primaries to wacked out disrupters like this.
Sure, she has potential for that - but all we know now is that she can win a safe D district with plenty of unassimilated ethnic malcontents.
She limits her own appeal to such places whenever she opens her mouth.
