When is President Donald Trump going to recognize that the best way to deal with the border people is to hire them to build the wall?
Hiring the border people to build the wall would create a win / win situation. The border people would win by getting jobs.
People living in the United States would win because people entering the country from the south in the future would have to pass though check points where they could be screened for contagious diseases. The recent measles outbreaks demonstrate the potential danger of open borders. Dangerous diseases like tuberculosis that are largely controlled in the United States can be common in countries some "illegals" come from. There are more HIV/AIDS deaths per million south of our border than in our country.
A century ago a judge might have agreed to punish illegal immigrants by forcing them to build a wall. Judges no longer order such forced labor, but the government can hire immigrants to build a wall.
The large number of unemployed people on the border provide a golden opportunity to build a wall that was first needed in the 19th Century when raiders would cross the border to attack settlers. We need to take advantage of the opportunity to build the wall now. Having the border people construct the wall would produce a work force that could be used to construct the infrastructure projects we also need. Trump's economic program is creating so many jobs that we may not otherwise have enough extra workers for essential infrastructure projects.
Either that or Trump could build housing/hotels to hold them for processing.
Two reasons that won’t happen. They’d have to be paid legitimately, which can’t be done. And they’re too lazy. Some would. Most would be in the wind.
The women would disappear and if they aren’t pregnant already, will soon get someone to breed with to pop out a citizen to start collecting.
Their supporters can say whatever they want about them taking jobs that American’s don’t want. As we all know, they take jobs that American’s won’t do for the money being offered. Big difference. Even if you take them making $10/hr, cash. That’s more like making around $15-16/hr before you take out for taxes, SS, workman’s comp, etc. So, in essence, they are all making the liberals Holy, $15/hr, just no one is paying any of the appropriate taxes, SS, insurance.

The issue of the wall has now become irrelevant.
With the current frenzy of invaders, we will be destroyed as a culture long before the wall can ever be completed.
Trump can now only protest with tweets while the nation is rapidly being dismantled.
We voted for Trump to implement his campaign promises, only to have Jeb! in the form of Kushner running our immigration policy.
Hell, ask for volunteers for a government sanctioned militia to man the border and you would get them. However, again the effed up government will NEVER do this because first they like cheap labor and the new third world voters that can be easily duped.
No, the border is wide open and will remain this way until We the People change out our current renters in DC.
You are spot on needs to be repeated over and over until the people finally wake up. The border will not be secure until We the People do it.
I thought in my youth that we could and would rally to the call. However, now after spending over 14 years with a small band of brothers on the border, it will not happen. Even 1% would be pushing it.
