I've seen you post this admonition several times and, frankly, I simply do not understand it.

Am I correct that you object to funneling traffic to the poster's website when he could simply post the whole message conveniently here?

Do we not have many, indeed virtually all our posts of articles directed to a website? How was he different? Is Nextrush different in substance from an aggregator like Drudge? Did not the author contribute a lot of effort to creating the content? Is not the worker worthy of his hire?

If there were no incentive to do the collecting, or the aggregating, distillation, whatever we call it, can we expect him, Drudge or anyone to do it for nothing?

I find the resume informative and not otherwise objectionable.

So I ask, without hidden agenda, the objection?

How was he different?

He wants to be paid for writing essentially a vanity thread.

Is Nextrush different in substance from an aggregator like Drudge?

Drudge provides links, Nextrash provides stolen headlines.

Is not the worker worthy of his hire?

Nobody hired this clown.

If Nextrush is not going to step up and defend himself, I have no interest in acting as his paladin.

Get a job, you parasite.

Uh, how do you know he doesn't have a job, and posts this in his spare time, which he magnanimously gives for our illumination?

It seems to me the owner of this site has a magic "delete" button that allows him, and no one else, to erase postings from his own real estate--yet he chooses not to use it, perhaps because he like many of us enjoy reading the postings.

I'm surprised no one's objected to your putting up a fraudulent home page, suggesting to novices that you've been banned; it certainly doesn't make freerepublic look good.

If he had a job, he wouldn't be chasing the four bucks he scores by blogpimping.

he magnanimously gives for our illumination

He magnanimously directs traffic to his blog and cannot explain why.

He sure does. Probably has for months. I'm glad you caught that.

I'm surprised no one's objected to your putting up a fraudulent home page

Fraudulent in what way?

it certainly doesn't make freerepublic look good

And ripped-off blogtrash posted as an excerpt to score traffic makes us look really great?
