Right - got it. So are fender washers. BATF&E and the law? There is no intersection.

Businesses need to make it clear to their customers that some future administration won't be able to get a court order for sales history from one of these companies - because they will have no sales history - because they have a policy of destroying any record that has a name and address on it after the item is sent.

Which means I can't be buying these things on line with a credit card...

Am I being paranoid enough? Time will tell.

Paranoid can be good.
Go to almost any store and buy a prepaid Visa or MasterCard. With cash of course. I think there’s about a $5 fee on a $100 card.
