Some of the “Red Dirt” “Outlaw” country music is pretty good, though most of it is closer to old school Southern Rock.
Bands like Whiskey Meyers, Reckless Kelly, Ryan Bingham, Cody Jinks, The Steeldrivers etc. are pretty good to listen to.
But they definitely are not Johnny Cash or Merle Haggard.

Those who can look into proverbial mirrors (when forced to) and forget the sort of men that they are are also rife on the Left.
There’s a line in this one Freedom Toons where a trio of Leftists brings back some US Soldiers from WW2, from Normandy itself, where one of the radicals says that they need the soldiers who fought real Nazis to convince people that they should condone violence against those that stand in the way of the social order the radicals seek to impose.
One soldier says: “Ah, and how exactly are they the Nazis?”
“Because I call them Nazis.” one clueless Lefty says.
Whereupon a soldier reminds him that they also say a man can be a woman.
Now, in the cartoon, as it fades out, the Leftists are slack jawed in realization but in the real world they should be far more immune to seeing themselves.
As I’ve written elsewhere in a bit of comedy I posted: “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Hate Crime has no known side effects that you cannot blame on the bad people.”
Being made uncomfortable by being shown the truth about yourself is simply one more thing to blame on the bad people.
