I had never been to Rubio's Coastal Grill before and sampled their fish tacos. Of course, I had been curious about this for awhile since tacos and fish don't seem to go together. The incentive that finally inspired me to check it out was that there have been half price gift cards for Rubio's for several weeks on GiftCardGranny.com so I bought a $50 gift card for just $25 which means everything would cost me just half price at Rubio's.
It would be a kindness if you would provide a locality for your review. If it is West Coast, I’m not going to bother with the video. Keywords could also work.
Um...Right up front I said “Coconut Creek, Florida.”
Also it is a chain so many locations.
W?hat’s the significance of “Rubio”?
“Um...Right up front I said Coconut Creek, Florida.”
No you didn’t, unless one has to go to your usually inane videos to hear it.
I dont get why people rag on fish tacos. I guess they have never tried one. Once you try it, youll understand.
Having said that I guess I shouldnt really talk. I still dont get the attraction of chicken and waffles. Chicken? Yes. Waffles? Sure. But together?
Blech.
Sorry but you do have to go to my totally insane videos to hear it. And please forgive me for letting everybody know about the HALF PRICE GIFT CARDS now available. Yes, it is INSANE how low they are right now so I beg your forgiveness.
We have 2 here in Bakersfield CA. I go a couple times per month. Lots of good food, but I’m hooked on the fish tacos. Their sauces, however, are marginal.
I thought Marco Rubio was just a Florida politician
The fish tacos were great but the grouper burrito was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! And best of all, everything there is now half price via the discounted gift cards.
If you go to Rubio’s a lot then you should get those half price gift cards for Rubio’s at Gift Card Granny.
Rubio’s is one thing I still miss about California.
Where are you now? We have several of them here in Florida. Broward County, Miami, and Tampa that I know of.
I lived in San Diego for 23 years, and I can say Rubio’s had the best fish tacos and burritos. The best traditional Mexican food you can get in SD though is the drive through places called Roberto’s or Humberto’s, any drive through with berto’s at the end of the name is going to be awesome, especially the Carne Asada.
As a white man, I hope I’m not committing cultural theft or something like that by loving Mexican food. (sarc)
Thanks, but I’ll keep clear of anything with the name RUBIO.
I thought the Rubio in the name was indeed the Senator and there was some political connection.
Knowing it’s not the article is nothing but a Yelp review.
They get good reviews on Yelp, FWIW. Unfortunately, there are none near me.
Rubio was the name of the guy who founded the restaurant. NOT the name of the Senator.
I added “CoconutCreek” & “Florida” to the Keywords function. You could add California if that is also where the chain operates. Use the tools, that is why they are there.
