Some thinking on Twitter that the mayor, a Dems, is trying to reduce the size of the overflow crowd size outside the venue.
Since the protesters didn’t show in huge numbers, I can see the mayor pulling this to make the differential appear less large.
That should be fine, it’s the other side that are full of it.

Did the city pay for the porta-pottys or did the Trump Campaign pay for them?
If it was the Trump campaign, this is theft!
Hard to imagine any Trump supporter peeing or defecating in public, but if they did, they would be immediately arrested and charged with a crime. And they would be found guilty and their lives ruined. Few on the right are willing to go to those lengths, and by the time they are ready and willing, it will be too late.
Would this act by the mayor be a violation of the ADA, anyone know?
I bet that the Minneapolis police have already been ordered to arrest any Trump supporter who urinates in public. They probably will be taken to jail and booked for indecent exposure and have to register as a sex offenders for the rest of their lives.
Meanwhile, if a black shirted antifa thug beats up an elderly Trump supporter the cops will stand by and watch.
There’s going to be a long line at Starbucks.
