The fascist, anti-gun groups won't rest until ALL lawful, gun owning Americans are disarmed.

Now zeroing in on Texas.

You folks need to back off. We haven’t done anything illegal with our weapons. Criminals have and you don’t advocate severe punishment or death for them. Stay out of Texas.

Virginia is fully blue. Their impact was negligible. I hope they waste money in Texas.

Not sure how they’re going to do that here in Texas. Even with the bad blood between Cruz and Trump in 2016, and the fact that Cruz was a home-boy, and the fact that what Trump had played both sides in NYC so people had nothing beyond his promises as president, Trump still won the state by 9 points.

Beyond that, we don’t have initiatives like California, mob rule won’t work for them, and our state laws on guns preempt any wise-ass locals trying to ‘make a statement’.

So, if the Left wants to play ball here, they are MORE THAN WELCOME to dump their money and learn about Texas the expensive way!

Why don’t conservative States start putting clearly worded and unambiguous Constitutional Amendments in their State Constitutions now, regarding the RKBA.

Here is what Texas says now:

Sec. 23. RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS. Every citizen shall have the right to keep and bear arms in the lawful defense of himself or the State; but the Legislature shall have power, by law, to regulate the wearing of arms, with a view to prevent crime.

That last sentence needs to be removed, YESTERDAY.

How about this: Sec. 23. RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS. Every citizen shall have the right to keep and bear arms, wherever such person may be present in the State, in the lawful defense of himself or the State.

Northern Va is full of swampy bureaucrats affixed to Uncle Sugar's
teat...apart from Austin, nothing similar in Tejas. Let these idiots waste
their efforts there...keep them out of Pennsylvania.

The group spent more than $1 million on TV ads in Houston in 2018, supporting U.S. Rep. Lizzie Fletcher, a Democrat who unseated longtime Republican Congressman John Culberson. The ads went after Culberson for taking money from the NRA and voting for weaker gun laws.”

That’s a ton of money for one seat in Congress and reeks of campaign spending corruption that Democrats use to unseat Republicans.

Not going to happen.

Candidate Party Votes Pct.
Greg Abbott* Republican 4,656,196 55.8%

Lupe Valdez Democrat 3,546,615 42.5

Mark Tippetts Libertarian 140,632 1.7

8,343,443 votes, 100% reporting (7,949 of 7,949 precincts)

Around here a lot of the progs are concealed carry.

They may sing that song but they are not going to vote for gun bans.

I wish the GOP fought this hard. We definitely should be trying the same tactics in Nevada and New Hampshire. We used to win these easily. We need to take back our states. We as a party literally watched Virginia go blue. It’s not like everyone was clueless this was happening.

I live in the Houston areas, and Lizzie Fletcher did not win via a gun-grabbing campaign. Her ads were very slick, she was a nice-lookning (though plump) young woman, and Culberson came off as an aging fat-cat career politician (he was in office for 9 terms, I believe). Her ads ran almost non-stop, so the 'rats obviously out-spent Culberson, but I don't remember Culberson's "voting for weak gun laws" as a major issue in her campaign.

Ha. They can pass whatever laws they want, I don’t care and I won’t comply.

In case they haven’t noticed, the Rule of Law is dead in this country.
