Unfortunately, over the past 15-20 years, it has degenerated into a 3rd-world-type cesspool with an America-hating population that is about 40% (and still rapidly increasing) migrant invaders... Crime, drugs, murder, & rape are now its principal moral attributes...
This former "teachers college" (now called a university) had the primary (and successful) purpose of producing excellent school teachers... As a former Danbury high school student (the HS was next door to the college) I can vouch for the fact that it also produced excellent looking teachers... After getting out of the Corps in the mid-50's, it also was one of my favorite hunting grounds... Now it spews out nothing but SJWs, communists, and demoncrats...
I was driving through Connecticut on my way to Boston on I84 back in August, and I forget the name of the town, but there was a huge arsenal, I mean Mosque.
