Ah, they are CFC free, so the same product we can get here, but at a much lower cost.

I thought it was me. I rarely use inhaler but keep on hand and when I refilled, it was different but more importantly I thought this isn’t doing squat. I kept thinking I had failed to remove a tab or something, it seemed nothing was coming out and what was coming out was not working.

Thank goodness I don’t rely on them and only use a few times in the fall for tightness when fall allergy season arrives. Feel for those folks who actually MUST have them to survive.

Same here. I’m usually just fine, but if my allergies kick up or I get a cold, then sometimes it gets bad. I have had one trip to the ER for an anaphylactic reaction, and I don’t want to do that again. That’s why I’m so mad that these inhalers don’t work!

Need something with pressure, there is nozzle technology to deal with freezing and you are pushing for the meds not the propellent to come out.

Same here, 10 years ago my hoarded Primatene Mist ran out. I knew I could live without it, I had experiences where it would suddenly stop. It was never life threatening. Finally, figured out I was slowly sucking air into my stomach, and that pushed on my diaphragm, causing attacks. Ibuprofen helped, so, now I don’t experience attacks anymore.

I was on Primatene for 33 years.

Got antibiotics and new inhalers from the doctor yesterday. Inhalers still aren’t effective, so I did use the nebulizer today. I’m sick of being sick.

"How long have you been using them?"

About 6 years. Asthma, hypertension, and cholesterol medications. Had a shipment lost in customs once. They promptly reshipped.

Still very useful if you are trying to keep your health issues out of your official medical record.

My oldest son has asthma

Almost killed him once now he’s on advair daily

The old propellant was much better

Wish trump would reverse that and toilets and washing machines and dishwashers

Please

Exactly. Enviro-nazis don’t give a rat’s butt about people. Their sole goal is control.

The Advair that I’ve used is a disk that doesn’t involve a propellant at all. It’s a dry power that you inhale with your own lung power. Advair is designed to be preventive, to keep you from having symptoms in the first place.

Rescue inhalers like ProAir do have a propellant but you’re not supposed to use those on a daily basis, you save them for emergencies. If your son is using a rescue inhaler every day I’d sure question that.

Asthma is a big reason why I’ve remained in California. I loved Virginia, but I had severe asthma twice a year when I grew up there. Asthma has been rare in the years that I’ve lived here, and never as severe. Don’t know that I’d still be around if I’d remained in the East.

He was using the red albuterol which he claimed was better than the grey one Ventolin

He started on Advair three months ago and his albuterol usage is minimal. I think his inhaler ....he’s used very little. Before he was hitting it a lot...more than just once a day

He’s not very disciplined about proper health stuff

He needs to leave albuterol for emergencies. Stick with Advair and maybe Singulair for daily use. Discipline is important when you’re dealing with potentially life threatening syndromes. You don’t get to just glide through life like your friends.
