Officers deployed a “Conducted Electrical Weapon,” more commonly known as a Taser, and took him into custody. He didn’t have a weapon on him.

Officers confronted him, and he turned toward the officers with his hands under his jacket, police said. He allegedly told the officers he was going to shoot them.
...
I think he intended to do a suicide by cop, but I can’t imagine why.
