Ric Grenell Moves to Secure 2020 Elections From the Real Threat
DB Daily Update ^ | David Blackmon

Posted on 05/16/2020 5:21:52 AM PDT by EyesOfTX

There is no more important issue facing our nation today than election security. That security has been under deep and growing threat for decades now, and not from the dreaded Russians.

The actual pervasive, focused and existential threat to America’s elections comes from the Democrat Party, which has been devising new ways to defraud the public trust and steal elections since its very creation.

VDO.AI Texans tell the tale of Lyndon Johnson’s stealing the Democrat Party’s 1948 U.S. Senate primary election using the infamous “Box 13” like it’s an amusing fairy tale. But it isn’t: It really happened, and it was really the first famous case of what Democrats today like to call “ballot harvesting.”

Johnson and his opponent, Coke Stevenson spent days after election day getting the respective crony county judges to “find” new ballots lying around their courthouses. Every time Stevenson would pull ahead, LBJ would call one of his buddies to “harvest” enough ballots to allow him to take the lead.

After this had gone on for several days, Johnson made one last call to his most reliable crony, Duval County Judge George Parr. Parr told him that he’d already “found” more ballots in his county than its total number of adult residents; plus, by that point he had the FBI and Texas Rangers breathing down his neck. But, he said, he might be able to do something in neighboring Jim Wells County. That evening, a box containing about 200 ballots, all filled out in the same handwriting, somehow cast in alphabetical order, and almost all of which were conveniently cast for Johnson, were added to the count, handing Johnson his victory.

We laugh about this story now, but think of all the human misery that LBJ was able to cause as the result of stealing that election. It is an established fact of history that John Kennedy was in the process of pulling the U.S. out of Vietnam when he was assassinated. Within days after taking the oath of office aboard Air Force One, Johnson reversed that decision and began his massive escalation of that tragic intervention.

Also, consider this: How does the Box 13 election theft differ in any substantive way from the “ballot harvesting” we saw in California in 2018, or the outright thievery – usually carried out on national television – we see in every election cycle by Democrat officials in Broward and Palm Beach counties in Florida? Mind you, those people in Florida came within a few hundred hanging chads of stealing the presidency for Al Gore in 2000.

The only real difference is that, instead of “finding” 200 ballots, the Democrat thieves today manage to “find” millions.

Indeed, the Democrats have become so unabashed about their election thievery – which their corrupt toadies in the national news media have worked so hard to normalize in the public mind – that they openly brag about it. Yesterday, House Democrats passed a $3 trillion piece of legislation that contains hundreds of millions of dollars as seed money for institutionalizing it in every state of the union.

It is against this backdrop that increasingly threatens to turn the United States into a functional banana republic, and the utter and complete failure by the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies to do anything about it, that Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell made another important move on Friday. In the news release copied below, Grenell announced that all election security briefings that have in the past been led by the increasingly-unreliable and corrupt FBI will now be led by the ODNI.

Image

Grenell’s action is just one more proof-point of what an abject failure Christopher Wray has been in the job of FBI Director, and likely another indication of how little President Trump trusts the man. No one should expect Wray to last long in a second Trump term in office.

From a report at Fox News on the matter:

A senior administration official told Fox News the newly-Senate confirmed director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center inside ODNI, Bill Evanina, will serve as the intelligence community’s leader of the “critical effort.”

OBAMA ADMINISTRATION WAS ‘FROZEN’ IN COMBATTING 2016 RUSSIAN ELECTION MEDDLING: SENATE REPORT

“U.S. elections are the foundation of our nation’s democracy,” Evanina said Friday. “We are committed to supporting this administration’s ‘whole of government’ effort to secure the 2020 election.”

The senior administration official told Fox News that the change “represents an important improvement in simplification to the threat notification process.”

A senior White House official told Fox News that “the biggest complaint from the 2016 election was the lack of, and insufficiency, of briefings to campaigns and candidates,” referring to then-candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

“The last election speaks to itself, in terms of how much was going on, and how poorly the campaigns and candidates were kept abreast in order to protect their campaigns,” the White House official told Fox News.

[End]

So obviously, James Comey’s FBI failed to get the job done in 2016, which should surprise no one. Equally obviously, there is no reason for anyone to have any more confidence in Wray’s FBI to get the job done in 2020.

While the corrupt news media will continue to focus on the Russia, Russia, Russia fantasy aspect of all of this, the real threat to America’s system of free elections always has been and clearly remains the Democrat Party.

Thank God for Ric Grenell, and pray his eventual successor, John Ratcliffe, is as effective and determined in this job as he has been.

That is all.

what an abject failure Christopher Wray has been in the job of FBI Director

******************

True but he’s still there and apparently will be for months to come. The smarmy Wray has persistently ignored the festering corruption in his organization and has done nothing constructive to reform it, much less hold anyone accountable.

He’s inept at best, and corrupt at worst but amazingly retains his hold on the position of the Director of the FBI.

When you leave people like Wray in their jobs expect problems.

The democrat vote theft will not end until the GOP does it on an even bigger massive scale.

The Republicans have to find a way to mysteriously get millions of dead people and non-citizens to vote for them.

At that point, the rats will be demanding that votes be made in person on election day with valid identification.

I will be doing my part by demanding absentee ballots, here in Pennsylvania, for my entire family, including one each for my 90 year old mother and two sons who have never voted, ever. Somehow, their votes will be cast for Donald J Trump. If the rats can get away with fraud, then so can we. Spit.

Maybe we’re looking at it wrongly. Maybe Wray didn’t see his job as to clean anything up. Maybe he sees it as keeping it as it’s been for naerly 11 years. In that regard, he’s doing pretty well./S

Wray is a Mueller type. A figurehead. Everybody at the FIB hate Trump and their is no Congressional oversight. Therefore, it really shouldn’t be a surprise what is going on there.

That’s good news. Hope it helps.

Is it an “established fact”? Seems to me Johnson inherited Kennedy’s entire government (many of whom were actively involved in the escalation) upon his accession...in which case shouldn’t the “pullout”, were it happening, have continued?

Once in an interview someone asked him what his biggest problem / surprise / challenge was. He said, “personnel”. He knows he has snakes in top-level positions, yet he keeps them there. I don’t get it.

I find it impossible to believe the the minute, I mean THE MINUTE, more people vote for a Republican than exist in a county or thousands of votes all for the Republican turn up in an office or car trunk the the Democrats will launch an in vestigation simply on the face of it that will dominate the news until it is resolved in jail time for some Republicans

VOTER FRAUD is Trump's and our Constitution's ONLY opponent in 2020 election.

Yet, nothing seems to be happening to stop this threat...and "Mail -In Voting Fraud" continues its march.

The story is an important one and I have no issue with any of the writer’s concerns. He does, however us the term “ballot harvesting” in the wrong context. While “finding” ballots after the election has been the most common way to steal elections in recent years, the “ballot harvesting” that stole several Congressional seats in California in 2018 took place before the election. Harvesting is where they send activists door-to-door saying “I’m here to pick up your ballot.” Unions were bold and unabashed about it in the good old days until many states started looking for the practice and posting warnings on mail in ballots to not give your ballot to anyone. In 2017 though California Democrats simply repealed the prohibition from harvesting so that activists, hired goons, and just about anyone else can now go door to door offering to pick up someones absentee ballot and mail it in for them. Of course its up to the harvester which door they knock on. That is what ballot harvesting is, like picking crops or fresh fruit off trees.

This is a big story - and very good news. But it will have to be followed up by some high-profile Federal prosecutions of state election officials - perhaps in conjunction with the upcoming Obamagate arrests in, say, October, 2020 - to have a chilling effect on the pre-planned thievery.

“ballot harvesting” that stole several Congressional seats in California in 2018 took place before the election.

While it would be a big hassle, why not have the ballots require a signature on them prior to delivery along with a warning notice that it must be mailed by the signer only.
(Would stop some)...probably better variations, but seems it could be solved.

I have two relatives who are Democrats and yes, we get along and can talk respectively.

In the Ohio election this year neither received their absentee ballots.

It is going to happen where both parties who request ballots will not get them.

I wish Republicans would get a back bone and fund recounts of elections like the 2018 one that flipped the House to Dems. They didn’t want to spend the time and money, especially in California.

I am convinced that Paul Ryan got Repub Reps to retire, not finish their term, not run again by many means either money, telling them they won’t support them financially, etc. 40 Reps we lost and that flipped the House to Dems. Paul Ryan wanted the flip in the house as he wanted to deny President majority in Congress.

Harvesters also pick out assisted living and nursing homes which is a HUGE number of voters right in one place. They help them complete their ballots and deliver them.

One place they’ll pay cigs and beer, another place ice cream and candy!!!

Johnson was a crook. He ‘borrowed’ money from relatives to go to college. NEVER paid them back!!! From when I heard that story, I never trusted him or his family.

Another case where Trump can’t get a real patriot approved by the Senate, so he has to constantly do work-arounds.

1) An account of voter fraud which could have changed the world. The following is based upon memories over 40 years old. The details may be off in non-essential ways, but the essence is true:

2) Tip O’Neill was Speaker of the House back in the 70’s. He came from a fairly conservative Irish Catholic district in Massachusetts. Tip was a leftist but one of them.

3) Even Tip was required by law to gather signatures to get on the ballot.

4) A wonderful, brilliant man by the name of Bill Barnstead ran as a conservative Republican against O’Neill for three successive elections, as quixotic as it gets, although Barnstead did significantly better each time.

5) During the last run, Barnstead surprisingly challenged the petitions O’Neill submitted to get on the ballot.

6) Let’s say 3500 signatures were required. O’Neill submitted a few more than 3500. IIRC few = 2 or 3 hundred extra.

7) You did not have to be an expert to see the petitions were what were called “kitchen petitions,” meaning 5 or 6 people sat around the kitchen table and circulated the petitions to each other, signing the name of a voter, so that every 5th or 6th signature was signed by the same fraudulent political operative.

8) IIRC a few of the petitions were signed by one person, so every signature was identical handwriting, absurdly so.

9) Barnstead’s lawyer, Arthur Levine, a brilliant and meticulous man, called a hand-writing expert at the hearing to challenge the petitions. The expert had been qualified as an expert over 90 times before the very body ruling on the petitions. He had NEVER been disqualified as an expert.

10) The expert’s testimony in a sense was superfluous because anybody could see both from the handwriting itself and from the pattern of signatures that the signatures were fraudulent. But he testified that many hundreds of signatures were fraudulent, bringing the number well below that needed to get on the ballot.

11) There was every reason to believe that O’Neill was off the ballot, and Barnstead would run unopposed.

12) After lengthy deliberation, the ruling body declared that Barnstead’s witness did not qualify as an expert and thus his testimony was excluded and the petitions upheld. They rejected the argument that any lay person could see from the handwriting and pattern that the signatures were fraudulent.

13) O’Neill might have won a write-in vote, although in the election Barnstead did very well, and the fraud committed by O’Neill might have been a deciding factor. The Globe ignored the story entirely and the Herald gave it perfunctory coverage. If O’Neill was kicked off the ballot, the news would have been huge national news, as would the fraud.

14) Without O’Neill, the Democrats would have suffered greatly at least in the short term.

15) I was a witness to the preceding, and have kept it as a lesson in the corruption of the system.
