In posts on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, he is being portrayed as the creator of Covid-19, as a profiteer from a virus vaccine, and as part of a dastardly plot to use the illness to cull or surveil the global population.
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has pledged millions of dollars to companies developing potential novel coronavirus vaccines.
In an interview on April 9 on CNBC, Gates spoke theoretically about how many people might experience side effects from a yet-to-be-developed coronavirus vaccine.
He also the work his foundation is doing to fight COVID-19. CNBC posted the clip on YouTube. It has been viewed more than 74,000 times.
Gates mentions needing about 7 billion doses worldwide and says:

Gates is a leading voice on the push for a vaccine for COVID-19 and he has committed more than $300 million to novel coronavirus response efforts. His stance, however, has made him a target of anti-vaccine campaigners.
Last I checked Gates wasn’t the vaccine czar, unless I missed a Trump appointment.
I have no idea why anyone gives Bill Gates even a moment’s consideration, ever.

Influenza IS a coronavirus— different DNA each year’s high risk strain decides a vaccine, which is typically far less than 60% effective in preventing infection. This year it is less than 40% effective-— they got the formula wrong.
How exactly is a “vaccine” THE answer to the SARSCov2-CCP virus in it’s current makeup (which is apparently two different strains, one in CA and one in NY-media has not mentioned that)?.
Answer is a vaccine is fairly close to useless. Versus the highly advantaged individuals with a good non suppressed immune system (not old enough to have a age related reduction in immune response typically seen— ie. under 65)who do not have a pulmonary co-morbidity (concomitant pneumonia- however caused).
The better answer is the development of highly effective treatment to prevent worsening of those who are symptomatic. We should (and already have good data right now on several regimens/agents) have these treatments well documented and recommended by the end of summer and early Fall.
You can’t blanket vaccinate everyone regardless of antibodies or history or who might be non-symptomatic—no matter how much Gates wants to have everybody’s “number”.
If needed, I will go HCQ and not submit to alleged coming “mandatory” inoculation for the Wuhan, Chinese, CCP CORONA VIRUS.
