The videos and images weve seen on social media and the news from all over the country over the last week have at times been moving, like in instances where police officers and legitimately peaceful protesters were actually engaging in respectful dialogue. Far more often, though, weve seen the highly disturbing images and videos of the rampant looting, arson, assaults, and destruction that is being orchestrated in American cities like Minneapolis and Los Angeles day after day from so-called peaceful protesters in the name of Justice for George.
The state of New York was the grand central station of mass chaos Monday night as video by video surfaced of police being violently attacked under the cover of the night, being run over by SUVs while stores were looted and set on fire.
It looked like scenes straight out of The Purge, not something youd see in America.
Between their documented leadership failures on managing the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak in their state and now this, President Trump made it clear on Twitter this morning that enough was enough. In one epic tweet, Trump called out NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) and Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), demanding they both act fast and call in the National Guard so this doesnt turn into another nursing home scandal:
Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump NYC, CALL UP THE NATIONAL GUARD. The lowlifes and losers are ripping you apart. Act fast! Dont make the same horrible and deadly mistake you made with the Nursing Homes!!!

This was like the tweet version of a MOAB.
Trump tweeted this as reports are circulating about Gov. Cuomos criticism of his so-called photo-op yesterday at St. Johns Episcopal Church, which was set on fire by rioters. Trumps visit also seriously triggered other Democrats and the MSM (but I repeat myself).
The longer the violence and rioting goes on, the more the whole situation plays into Trumps hands. Cuomos been under growing pressure from the locals to answer for the nursing home scandal and other failures, and de Blasio is pretty much hated by everyone in New York City, including Democrats, for his gross mismanagement of the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak.
Both of them are also in self-inflicted no-win situations with both the police unions and anti-police activists in the state. You try to please one, you enrage the other.
Cuomo and de Blasio both built this, they need to clean it up.
But until they do, Trump is going to do everything he can to shame them into quelling the riots and protecting the people before the state turns into a real-life version of Escape from New York.
And after what we saw go down there last night, I cant say as I blame him. Just as it has been in the Wuhan coronavirus crisis, someones got to be the leader here. If Cuomo wont, Trump will.

this might the biggest trap they ever fell for...i could see it coming last night...sure enough, Cuomo bit hard ..
Gov. Cuomo may not be quite as smart as bro Fredo.
He is giving them the warning. Do it or I will.
THAT'S going to leave a skid mark.
Trump can remind me of an angry football coach reviewing yesterday’s scrimmage with the quarterback and coordinators.
I can think of no previous president who was that way in my lifetime. Maybe LBJ, but I don’t know for sure.
Trump is very blunt and outspoken when he wants to be.
Why? Because some people need that hard kick in their proverbial ass before they pay attention and admit to problems. Besides, if you don’t the Dem Gov. will blame the GOP president for everything anyway. May as well go on record having set the record straight.
Rudy and Dan Bongino are the winners in NYC these days.
Are CNN anchor’s head’s exploding? No cable here.
Curtis Sliwa for mayor
I wonder how POTUS is protecting his NY real estate?
And Trump has got to carry through. They’re counting on him not to do it.
Frankly, when I saw Cuomo’s insane rant yesterday, I was thinking he was basically announcing that NYS is no longer part of the United States and does not accept US authority.
I would say there may be a Fort Sumter moment when Cuomo attacks the Federal presence, except for the fact that most of the NG comes from Upstate people and they have been punished and reduced to poverty by Cuomo and probably don’t like him very much.
LBJ just killed everybody he hated, JFK, MLK, RFK, Malcolm X. An awful lot of assassinations on his watch.
Just think back to the start of the year. There was de Blasio running for the Democratic nomination for president. Still shaking your head? Laughing uncontrollably? And think the democrats made the right choice, Biden?
He says that but I a pretty sure he is bluffing.
Step 1. Clear Lafayette Park
Step 2. Be filmed walking 10 feet in front of entire White House Staff and SS marching right through the gates of the White House and across Pennsylvania Avenue.
Step 3. Stand like tall and hold a Bible for all to see in front of important church.
Step 3a. Don’t really say anything.
Step 4. Invite Cabinet Members into the Photo Opportunity
Step 5. March right back to White House.
Demonstrating that it is time to take charge and end the violence
Like a BOSS
Bring back Giuliani!
I bet New Yorkers would vote for him, and even if, at his age he had to have a deputy mayor who did most of the work, he’d get a good one.
