VANITY--Best places to buy shotgun shells online

Posted on 06/11/2020 8:22:35 AM PDT by AbolishCSEU

My husband would like to buy shotgun shells online for his inherited father's shotgun. Bird shot and the like.

Does anyone have any recommendations? We live in the People's Republic of NYS

Gunbot.net

Note: Confirm the chamber size before you buy modern shells and destroy the gun.

rstshells.com sell shells for older shotguns.

You will see this a lot:
We do not ship to any jurisdictions where doing so is prohibited by local, state, or federal law. Before placing your order, please do whatever research is necessary to ensure that shipping your order does not violate any local, state, or federal laws. Ammo.com does not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Massachusetts, California, New York City, or Chicago. If your shipping address is in Connecticut, Illinois, New York State, or New Jersey, we will require the documentation that these states require our office to collect

I’ve purchased ammo online a lot.

Shotgun shells, specially by the flat are usually cheaper if bought locally.

That said, online check out Natchezss.com and Midwayusa.com

Both are reasonably priced and ship quickly. Note, ammo is heavy so you’ll probably get a little sticker shock on the shipping costs.

I have complained numerous times recently on this forum about the current scarcity of rounds on store shelves. Strangely, shotgun shells are still easily had at my local academy and Wal mart, the latter of which I refuse to shop at since they stopped carrying all pistol cartridges and intermediate rounds like 7.62x39.

If they’re such libtards that they won’t even carry .45 and “assault rifle” ammunition, I have no use for them and won’t shop there at all, for any reason. I don’t need their Chinese garbage anyway.

HEB and academy for life1

Drive across the border to Pennsylvania. Much cheaper, much less hassle. No one in NY will know you have them.

Leave the phone at home or secure in an RF shielded enclosure while parked at the point of purchase. Use cash. Be aware some states such as California monitor out of state purchases of ammunition (trafficking residents.) These are intercepted once they return to their home state. Use a cutout?
